Herbstreit strongly favors Michigan over Ohio State in a week and a half.

Of course that's what we all want. I think given the last three years, Michigan will leave nothing to chance, and will crush OSU. And yet, with the BPONE, I'll believe it when I see it.

No jinx possible. Nothing being left to luck. We're already at a different level than they are and improving every day. More than a decade of frustration is about to come out all at once. The pole is flipping, and it's about to go the other way for a very long time.

Irritating, though, that everyone is trying to undercut them right before we kill them. They shouldn't get to cheapen our win like that.

He has pulled this crap before.

Back in 2011 when VaTech made a BCS bowl, he went on and on over the course of multiple days about how they didn't belong in any BCS bowl and it was a bad system that picked them.  He mentioned that we belonged and should be heavily favored over the pretenders....then right before the game he picked VaTech to beat us, because they have been disrespected, by nobody thinking that they belong.

Devious Buckeye, he is trying to fire up his team.

I hate OSU as much as everyone here, but Kirk is a good guy and the best college football analyst in the business. I also enjoy his commentating. He gets extra points for declining offers from ESPN to be an NFL analyst. Kirk stated he didn't want to because he loves college football so much. Kirk is not a big NFL guy. NCAAF is far and away more entertaining than boring NFL games. Props to Kirk for sticking with what he likes more.

True, but they're already gonna be hopped up on bennies and goofballs and raging at the Gods anyway. Better to sing them all lullabies, tell them they're special and put them to sleep than risk some miracle effort.

After a decade of Rich Rod, Hoke, and three years of climbing the mountain with Jimmy, I'm not sure my ticker could take an upset.

This is exactly what comes to mind...he's trying to fuck shit up again...

UM wins he'll go on and on about being right...how he saw it all along.

UM loses and his message helped to wake up the Buckeyes...and 'if Harbaugh couldn't get it done this year...he may never get it done..blah, blah, blah..."

Herbie..just stop already. He'll be in the endzone with that shit eating grin and fake lobster tan if/when OSU scores a TD...

I'm still pissed at you Herbie, but you're right about this. The rivalry is finally about to flip again when we take 15 years of pent up frustration out on those fucks in their own house.

Fuck Ohio.

Picking Michigan to win isn't really "rooting" for Michigan.  There have been plenty of years when I expected OSU to win The Game and if anybody asked me, that's what I would say.  Doesn't mean I didn't want Michigan to win or that I was "rooting" for OSU.  I fully expect Alabama to demolish The Citadel this weekend.  But I am not rooting for them; I would absolutely love to see the Bulldogs rise up and embarrass the Tide.

I'm sure Herbstreit would prefer if OSU wins The Game.  Doesn't mean his better judgment can't still lead him to conclude that they won't.

If there is one weakness that you can’t fix week to week, and we known it all to well, is offensive line, and theirs is pretty bad. Haskins really struggles versus the blitz, he’s going to have a long day in my opinion.
