Simpsons is awful now but there is at least one good gag in every episode. And every once in a while, there's a gem of an episode.

90s Simpsons was still best Simpsons, IMHO, but I agree, now and again, there is still an episode that is consistently funny from beginning to end.

Seasons 3-10 are about as funny as comedy gets. Incredible stuff and every week. Then we got get the slow, increasingly sad decline of the 00s..

These last two episodes have been excellent for new age Simpsons. Two weeks ago’s episode with the self driving car was very solid

Yet, this is a blog for Michigan football AND BASKETBALL (and some hockey). There are far more people on this site who watch Michigan basketball than the Simpsons TV show.

This is no "Looks like Heaven's easier to get into than Arizona State." Saying Columbus < Russia makes fun of Michigan fan's skewed values. Which, I 100% agree with and relate to.

It doesn't seem like it's really making fun of either school, just a funny joke playing into the rivalry. I would see it as more of a "jab" had it not been a Michigan fan saying it .

I'm 55 and use to watch them in the early and mid 90s...then I switched to family guy but haven't watch any of the cartoons in the last 15 years.

Pretty funny, but I’ve got to be honest. The Simpsons stopped being funny about 15 years ago. The episodes from the late 90s to early 2000s are gold, but these days it’s just a whole lot of meh.

Somebody needs to start a database of all the Michigan athletes who have been on TV shows (Jim Harbaugh on "Saved by the Bell," Elroy Hirsch on "The Munsters," etc.); all the TV and film characters who graduated from Michigan (Ari on "Entourage," etc.); and all the TV shows and films with Michigan references. Hop to it, somebody!

Simpsons just had one last year or two years ago about Jim Harbaugh being an evil genius . A memorable one for me in tv was on The Americans a couple seasons ago with the retro 1980s Michigan poster one of the Russian spy’s had at his house

It things like this that help me remember the good ole Simpsons and entice me to watch again. Then 6 min into an episode Im already disengaged. It's a shame really :-/
