This will be the thread for your snowflakes and hot takes regarding the overall coaching.

One of the things I love about him, is that while the man knows what he wants to do, he doesn’t seem to have an issue bringing in other talent. Almost like a great CEO. He also (doesn’t seem, to my untrained eye) wedded to an overall scheme slavishly.

With guys like Mooch with the Lions, or Hoke, or RR they seemed less flexible and more touchy about their purview.

Harbaugh seems perfectly happy to have overall vision control (we want to be physical) but let the coordinators have a lot of control.

I love it. And it’s gotten us some damned good coaches.

I wrote it after week 1. Many Michigan fans are mentally soft and those on this blog typically never played and have ridiculous expectations for what the team should be doing. People have very limited visions.

Harbaugh is one of the best coaches. He hired Don Brown, and he is the one who righted the ship after last year’s anomaly. We are blessed to have him as our coach. The instant gratification folks can continue to criticize him—free country—but I am not looking the gift horse in the eye.

Don Brown is awesome. Love that man. Offense sets up a lot of plays for the second half. Love it. Grind out And TOP is through the roof. Not worried when they are down anymore. We are in good hands. One more stop on revenge tour

"Someone" is right. Keeping them would be a good idea.

...unlike half of you on September 2nd who wanted Harbaugh gone: "He's not getting it done." "He doesn't have his team prepared." "He can't win a big game." "Fire Harbaugh!"

A message to those of you (and there were MANY of you) who had these kinds of takes after 1 game of the season: ...realize that your knee-jerk reactionism makes you look not smart. Instead, you're merely obnoxious "BAW OMG" BPONE guy with no perspective. Let the season play out and don't define your coach by the team's worst performance of the season. Now you love him!!! Congrats on being a tool.

Genuine congrats to Michigan for being a legitimate CFP team. I'm jealous.

I agree with this.

So long as we’re talking about Sept 2nd, everyone should take a moment to recall the reaction on this board and all the “fire Harbaugh” takes after the PSU game last year.

Felt almost identical to the “fire Beilein” takes a few years back.

Happy for these kids, the staff, and excited about the future of the program.

Every fan base has folks like that. You're sanctimonious post really just comes off as snarky and self righteous. I'll agree the few folks who posted fire Harbaugh were ridiculous, I'd be willing to bet just as many if not more were calling for Urban's head after Purdue and Nebraska ( but they were perfectly fine with him coming back after Zach Smith)

All I can say is I have never seen a Michigan team so transparently be spiteful towards another program like that.  Even Sparty.  It was amazing.  The number of times we mocked PSU's signature celebrations was at least a half dozen.  Maybe more.

Holy Shit...

Maybe I am a bit high, but is JMFH Murderwolf?

He's always been here? We thought he was gone last year, but was just biding his time?

I can't connect all the dots here, but the appearance of Murderwolf and salty JMFH can not be a coincidence.

Michigan was doing what they wanted with them so much it got boring. The only reason the end of the game was so interesting was because of the shutout they were pitching

Great game coach!

Just when I started to think we were getting way too conservative, the swing pass to Evans and the short pass to Gentry for the TD came out of the bag.  Just ground them down, and pulled out something different after PSU got over committed to stopping the inside run.  So happy that jackass Franklin got payback for his cheap effort to try to score at the end of the game last year.

When you beat # 14 team 42-7 nothing to second guess.   Some of the big pass plays our receivers were wide open.  Impressive win all the way around.
