Hot Prediction for Tomorrow

Submitted by UMich2016 on November 2nd, 2018 at 7:32 PM

Trace McSorley will not finish the game.

He's about to play perhaps the most violent defense he has played his entire football career at less than 100%.  Trace will have to run for them to have a chance to beat us (his receivers have a very high amount of drops this year).

Bush delivering a major blow early on would certainly expedite the process.

Don't want to see him hurt.  He's a competitor.  But if Franklin is pushing his limits against our defense, he will not last.  This would spell misfortune for them... he makes that team go round.  Especially the fact that they're not really playing for anything this year anymore - they need their Leader in the game performing at a high level to keep up the motivation.

Go Blue.

Well considering he let his former DC diddle little boys for so many years on the ped state campus, OF COURSE he made a concussed player play next week.

Probably threatened him by saying uncle jerry will come and visit you if you don't play!!!

BTW, FUCK ped state and all their delusional joepa loving fans and all the paternos and field goal franklin!!!

"threatened him by saying uncle jerry will come and visit you!!!" sad and funny (ok pretty sad and unfortunately true) all at the same time.  I'm drunk now and fear I'll be this drunk tomorrow at 3:45 and just may bust through my tv screen to fucking throat punch delta bravo James Franklin.  Might be peaking too soon, need to calm the fuck down.  Serenity now, serenity now.

Unpopular prediction -- we'll have a little trouble with the mobile quarterback(s) that PSU has. The read option is probably the best play in the game today, and they have a couple capable QBs. Scrambling has also been a bugaboo for our defense, because our DBs play a lot of man and have their backs turned. ND exploited that a bit. I still think we'll win, but I expect some annoying first down conversions on scrambles and so forth -- similar to when we'd play JT Barrett. McSorely is pretty good.

After the first quarter of ND we have been saying this. Nothing really happens and M dominated. I see the same result regardless. We have been built to stop the running QB now. It is the Haskins type that can give is trouble if they have a great pass protection. We will see tomorrow but will not be surprised if we demolish the running QB.

After the MSU game, I’m convinced DB believes he can get pressure with 4 rushers tha can collapse the pocket, basically bull rushing the OL into the QB. That leaves no room for the QB to escape up the middle, and allows the LB/Viper to rush up and contain if the QB is able to break the pocket.

its the best of both worlds, takes away the quick throws by having the LBs playing underneath, but allows for coverage sacks/short scrambles if the DL doesn’t hit home with their pressure, which they have been successful at anyway.

Coming in hot...

The game will start slow like normal.  Conservative play will make the Mgoboard lose it but the good guys will come away with a W. 27-14.

Meh. I think the McSorley injury thing is a bit overblown.

Looked like a boo boo and it's been a week. If you're expecting to see him miss significant time tomorrow you're probably going to be disappointed.

Khaleke Hudson will be our best defensive player, and play his best game of the year. He really hasn’t made his usual flashy plays but I think that ends tomorrow

I would stay away from opponent injury predictions and keep it on the positive.  Biggest win to date for JH at Michigan...and it will be huge...sets up two 10 win teams for The Game.
