Would be ranked higher if he wasn't from a recruiting wasteland. Lewis Cine used to play at that school and the two were inseparably linked as the best players in the commonwealth, but Cine went to camps then left to play in Texas and got noticed nationally and now he's getting paid to go to Georgia. Sainristil hung back and is currently leading the Bama of Mass football (they're literally called the Crimson Tide) to a 3rd straight state championship, since they took out Xavierian in their opener and toppled their big scary rival a few weeks ago. Sainristil's visiting for the Penn State game. His new coach this year played for Don Brown at UMass.

Jesus, dude.  Usually a 3* like that has committable offers to Bama, OSU, and Clemson, and I'm stuck wondering why the recruiting services don't see it.  This kid doesn't have big time offers or a ranking.

If you showed me that tape without any background, I'd assume it was a high 5* player.  I don't care about competition level, that dude caught anything that would have landed in a 20 yard radius and returned it to the house.  As a WR, he adjusted to the ball well.  As a RB, he was far more elusive looking than anyone on our roster.  Wow.  Mark my words, that kid is going to be playing on Sundays.

Looks like a very athletic prospect with wicked speed.  Kind of reminds me of Chris Evans in that I could see him at a number of different positions: CB, slot receiver, safety, RB, WR, KR, PR.

He does look short though, which is probably another reason for the lower ranking.  Kind of like Devin Bush Jr. that way.  I love these 3-star prospects who are excellent players but get underrated for being a couple inches shorter and/or playing in the Northeast.

I have no problems fessing up.  My initial thoughts on Josh Mettellus committing were not pleasant (never posted about it, just kept it to myself).  Now i just shut the fuck up and trust Don Brown.  When we first started recruiting Sainristil, my initial 1 second reaction quickly became 'STFUATDB'.  He does indeed look better than his rankings - as Don Brown finds these guys like Uche and Paye.  Incredible.

he's like charles woodson and anthony thomas combined, but faster.  more like the flash, if the flash could actually fly.

very nice tape.  looks poised, quick, and smart.  someone mentioned a rondale moore comparison (that purdue player we all found out about on saturday) and that might not be far off.

Nice tape!  The kid is clearly a man among boys, though.  I mean, the opposition was butt - which is why nobody scouts the North East, right?  He'll have a learning curve against P5 competition, but he's got the skills, the speed, and the tenacity (watch those blocks - kid is heartless) to make it work.

Kids like this him, Khaleke, and Ronnie Bell (among others) are the 2 & 3 stars that Mick never got to coach up.  The kind that are diamonds hidden in coal.

LOL - just keep sucking it, Sparty!

In the first catch of that film he already shows more spacial awareness, finding an opening in a zone defense and sitting in it, than most of our current WRs.

I like his film, but damn he's small. Doubt 5'9" is legit and I don't see elite speed, but quickness. Good possession slot receiver.

I agree with the awareness he seems to have very good "football" sense. I think he might be faster than you think - very athletic. He literally stopped and jumped right over a dude at the end of one of those longer plays.

The talk was that Michigan has been primarily recruiting him as a slot from the beginning.

It's clear that Harbaugh is trying to reshape the offense with his emphasis on smaller, electric players in this class. He may still want to run some 3 TE sets, but he also is going to have slots and backs that are threats to turn short passes into TDs.

Also in other recruiting news Crouch has listed Michigan and Clemson as 1a and 1b in his recruitment sounds like he’d already pick Michigan if it wasn’t for the weather

on a less enthusiastic note Wiltfong put in a crystal ball for Clemson 10/20 after Crouches visit
