Karma For Idiot MSU Reporter - B1G Media Days

Submitted by Rose Bowl on October 21st, 2018 at 11:55 PM

This guy tried to get a cheap shot on Jim during media days.  Now he's eating his words.  Glad the boys stomped em.  Starts at 4:55:

The guys an idiot but he isn’t eating his words quite yet. We cash in the Big Ten title, he will be. But I wonder why we keep bringing attention to idiots in the media. We don’t need to go back and point fingers at everyone who said something bad every time we win a game. Keep winning and the idiots in the media grow quiet.

Nope. No way he’s on the hot seat. Dantonio has a lot of built up goodwill with MSU fans with theee Big Ten titles, a playoff appearance, big bowl wins, and a decade of dominance over Michigan. He’s their best coach in the last 50 years.

Theyre not going to get anyone that’s any better or at least not anyone who’s a better fit.

Have you read the Spartans Wire website? It's some of the most cringeworthy, inferiority-complex-driven filth journalism I've ever read. He calls Michigan "UMAA." It's in stark contrast to the actual good journalism on wolverineswire. Amazed that he has credentials. WTF is this world coming to

It stands for "University of Michigan Ann Arbor" - it's meant to be a dig at the fact that people from the UM campuses at Flint and Dearborn claim to be "true" UM grads and so therefore they need to distinguish it. Roll it into the "Walmart Wolverine" thing and you're basically caught up to speed on Sparty thinking.

It's bitterness that so many fans without direct ties chose Michigan over MSU. The funny part is that most fans chose Michigan well before Walmart was ever in Michigan. (So they literally got their M gear at Meijer, but Meijer MIchigan Fan isn't as "clever".)

...on a related note...

After hearing Blaha's bitter call at the end of Saturday's game, I looked up how long he has been calling Spartan football games.

Blaha has an undergrad degree from Notre Dame and an MBA from Michigan.

The biggest Sparty homer didn't even go there! Haha.

End of Lloyd era? I distinctly recall Lloyd's record in his final six games against MSU is 6-0.

EDIT 1: WolverineInCinci beat me to it. Well done.

EDIT 2: The funny thing about MSU fans is when they make fun of us for lowering the quality of their wins against us during the Hoke and RR eras, yet they lower the quality of our wins before their "seat at the big boys table."

I just looked at his site. Calling this blogger a reporter is going way too far. From what I can see, he's the only person who contributes to his site and it just seems like the whole site is ranting about "UMAA".

Jim Camproni from Spartan Mag is a douche. I know he wasn't the reporter involved in this post but he is still a douche.

There is no point to mentioning it to them. If we win the national title and every player donates time to at risk children they will find a way to complain and be offended.

If Ann Arbor burns to the ground they will complain that the news upended the coverage of their mens crew team.

It doesn't matter.

I'm thrilled Harbaugh called them out. We need to stop putting up with their bullshit.

Is that Desmond Morgan in the bottom-right corner of the screen (behind the blurry head in the foreground)? Looks like he's chuckling to himself while the blowhard in the green shirt spews idiocy.

If we lose to OSU this season (let's just not though, mmmmkay?), I wonder if all these Spartan slappies will still be like, oh, you're only 2-6 against MSU and OSU so you can't beat your rivals.

Well, JH is now 2-2 against MSU with the two losses being pretty unusual/fluky.  So they can't lump themselves in with OSU now.

Michigan is 0-3 against OSU.  That's Harbaugh's only hurdle left.  Get it done in Nov.
