PFF Michigan-MSU Game Scores
Long and Winowich are somewhat expected, but quite the turnaround by Runyan during this year. Curious where Uche would have ranked, but not sure he had > 20 snaps to qualify.

Karan Higdon, RB – 69.0 overall

PFF must be mind-readers. How could they possibly know Long was targeted 8 times? I had no idea who most of those passes "targeted." I doubt Lolwerke knew either... Although I guess you can't give credit for PBUs to the sideline, benches, or cheerleaders.

I was on the 30 yd line, row 10 & I'm pretty sure I was targeted more than Long.

expected Hidden to be higher actually

He is, you just can't see it because it's hidden.

Great to see John Runyan doing a spectacular job. Ed Warinner is one hell of a coach.
October 21st, 2018 at 7:53 PM ^
Yes, he is. I don’t know if OC/OL was too much for Drevno or what, but Warinner is clearly a much more effective coach.

"I'll take 'Things You Would Have Laughed At Four Months Ago' for $800, Alex."
"This University of Michigan legacy is legitimately one of the best few Left Tackles in the Big Ten conference."

Hang on, just a second. If I'm understanding this, there's a real possibility that Jon Runyan Jr is a favorite to make the preseason 1st team all Big Ten next year? *faints*
October 21st, 2018 at 10:36 PM ^
I mean, he's legitimately been a top 5 OT in the conference the last two weeks. Wisconsin's is going pro...he's probably winning some kind of All Big Ten honor next year if he keeps going.

His brother Jon is doing great too!

Lol, i missed it. Very ironic with my other post above. Instant Karma.

Is Willekes a beast or are our TEs soft? Especially Gentry, he was getting man handled.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:00 PM ^
He is a beast. He was also super aggressive and one of the reasons we have those successful zone read keepers given he lost contain.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:01 PM ^
Are you just thinking of that one play that the announcers replayed and singled out Gentry?
Anyway, Willekes family is poor, so it doesn't matter. Your family is poor, Kenny. Your family's POOR.
I don't like Kenny anymore, he just doesn't communicate...
October 21st, 2018 at 8:09 PM ^
I'm thinking I'm missing a reference here, but I know Willekes' private trainer, they're not poor

I’m guessing South Park

Ah, that would make sense, never understood that show.

You know his steroid dealer?

Nah, but the Panasiuks on the other hand...
October 21st, 2018 at 7:54 PM ^
Without a doubt the OL improvement has been the key to getting us where we are. All the other pieces were in place.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:01 PM ^
I would say OL and QB. Both were missing last year.
October 22nd, 2018 at 11:17 AM ^
The OL leads to better QB play.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:09 PM ^
Id be interested to understand the methodology more, I feel like I never see running backs grade out well, but almost always a tackle is in the top five. Do lineman scores have higher deviation s.t. one of the ten linemen happen to get a really good grade while running backs are almost always in the middle of the pack?

Lerwerke has played three games against Michigan. He has thrown for 100, 94, and 74 in those three games for a total of 268 and an average of 89 yards per contest.
October 21st, 2018 at 8:31 PM ^
Surprised MSU didn't have an offensive player in the top 5
October 21st, 2018 at 11:03 PM ^
top 25 maybe
maybe

To think how brutal everyone was on John Runyan the first couple of weeks. The best coaching decision this year might turn out to be keeping that line intact and not making the instant changes that everyone here were calling for.
October 21st, 2018 at 10:15 PM ^
It’s almost like the coaches know more about this kind of stuff than message board warriors (myself included!).
