I'm sure some curmudgeon fans will poo-poo Chase and Devin but you can tell based on the reactions it was cathartic for everyone.

They're supposed to go over and say good job, good game? Flip the script. Michigan loses and MSU is laughing in our faces. Not to mention some of the dirty play towards Ruiz and JBB. Can't take a punch? Don't build your whole program on being disrespected then.

Say it's bulletin board for next year? Who cares. They would find and/or manufacture such material anyway. About time.

What goes around comes around man, State has been acting like asses for a decade. It's time they were on the other end if this stuff. That said they still started it all with that bullshit walk through with D'Antonia right there smiling like a bitch while it happened. The video is everywhere on twitter yet that bitch said it's bs he wasn't there.

Maizeandbluemangroup will probably tell us chase is a horrible human being for doing this. Just like bush was an embarrassment right? Fucking moron. Chase and bush are exactly the type of players we need - skilled, intense and with swagger.  They don’t back down.

Was it "lame" when Gholston tried to rip Denards head off?  How about when their players taunted our players as they exited the tunnel in the Big House?  Was it lame when Dantonio asked, "where's the threat?"  MSU has been "lame" and the ones disrespecting Michigan and the rivalry when they had the better of it lately.  That's why they are, and always will be, Little Brother.

Because, like a little brother, they gloated and bragged with no long-term perspective, and just assumed that it would remain the same forever.  As much as I hate to admit it, they were the better program from 2008 onward, but they're clearly not right now … not by a LONG SHOT.  As coach Dantonio said, they were content to lay in the weeds and seize on the opportunity to strangle their biggest rival when they were down -- and they did just that.

But, make no mistake about it, their behavior towards Michigan during this past decade -- today pre-game included -- just made so they can never lay in the weeds again.  They will NEVER surprise Michigan again, ever.  They had their run -- along with a flukey continuation in '15 and '17 -- but the #1 factor in that run (Michigan being down) is over.

I absolutely LOVE the fact that Michigan's players and coach decided that enough was enough and are willing to give it right back to them.  Clearly you're not.  That's what's lame, if you ask me.

Well 'little brother' is a lot more than football though.  Michigan is the flagship university in the state, and consistently rated as an elite public university.  MSU is the other big one.  They're a fine school in terms of their academics, but until they develop an identity and culture that isn't a response to the University of Michigan, they'll always be a 'little brother' type of place.  Although there are plenty of times when people call them that for no other reason than to see them get all hurt over it.

The fact you define how someone else, who actually played in said games, should feel about those games is equally interesting.  Irrelevant, but interesting that there is a subset of Michigan fans who believe college athletes should both win rivalry games AND meet their subjective feelings about the degree of celebration that should exhibit while doing it.

I have lots of respect for your posts so I'll reply to this one: I'm not trying to define how Chase or anyone playing in the game feels or reacts, they are free to celebrate however they want. In fact I love how the team celebrated on Sparty's, logo, what Bush did pre-game, and the Harbaugh bash of Dantonio. I just believe that the little bro thing was dumb when Hart did it, and is is dumber still when we have struggled to beat these guys.

I do have a superior definition.  As others aptly point out, Lil Bro is about a lot more than football.  It's about the obsessive/compulsive way in which they relate to everything concerning the University of Michigan.

Besides, Michigan is NOT 2-2 against MSU, Michigan is 70 - 36 - 5 against MSU.  We've dominated them before, and we dominated them again tonight.  I think if it weren't for the pre-game bullshit and the dirty play in-game, Chase wouldn't have said anything.

Personally, I think you're scared of Sparty and you're using your outrage about class and record to cover for it -- no offense.

I hope this team have the mindset that Devin Bush and Chase had the rest of the season. They don’t give a fuck what anybody thinks. Harbaugh calling Dicktonio out in the presser was nice. I love the swagger (I fucking hate that word BTW) that this team is playing with.

This is the most satisfying victory in a VERY LONG TIME!  Total domination!  Very enjoyable!  Mike Dantoni is so angry and such a bitch.  The voo doo is done.  Back to little brother status.

Thank you Chase for this!  To me the lowest point as a Michigan fan was apologizing after the stake incident.  Like it wasn't enough to get our ass kicked we also had to apologize for it.

Screw Sparty they want disrespect lets give it to them.  No apologies
