Burke and Hardaway starting off strong

The Knicks may have to be my second favorite team. I love that Burke has found a home again, and that these guys are starting in the same backcourt. Hardaway has 24 and Burke has 15 late in the third quarter.

Blake was pisssssed at him after the game ended and in his post-game interview. I'd love to see GRIII do great things for the Pistons, but it looked like his failure to foul on that last shot was a pretty drastic failure to execute on his part.

I saw this too, but if you watch the replay, Harris catches the ball off the inbound and immediately pump fakes. If GR3 fouls, Harris is going to shoot the ball and get 3 shots. Harris then takes a quick dribble and goes into his shot. I wondered if GR3 made the smart decision by not fouling.  If he timed it perfectly he could've fouled when Harris dribbled, but I think he made the right decision. I just hope he DECIDED not to foul...hope he didn't FORGET to foul after they obviously just talked about it.

Unfortunately Duncan got no burn tonight for the Heat. Crawford and the Suns play later tonight, Wagner and the Lakers start the season tomorrow against Stauskas and the Trail Blazers.

All eyes will obviously be on the Lakers tomorrow night as we see the much anticipated debut of future HOF Moe Weezy.

THJ is going to be a dark horse All-Star candidate this year if he's healthy.

He's a volume scorer who gets better every year in a weak East guard field, plus he'll have a bright green light to shoot it with Porzingas out.

I happened to be in Orlando last spring and saw them both shred the Magic live.   Tons of fun.

What's crazy about NBA pay, among other things, is that Hardaway's salary this year is just about 10x what Trey's is.    I hope Timmy is picking up some dinner tabs for #3 after the games.

I'd love to see Trey dishing out some more assists. He clearly has the handles and the talent to be playing at this level, but if he can become a little more threat moving the ball around the court, he could explode this season

Knicks - Nets tonight! Quite a few Wolverines will get minutes against each other.

As a Knicks fan I have to tell you unfortunately (not only that it's unfortunate to be a Knicks fan), that most fans like Burke but don't see him as an integral part of the team. A defensive liability (despite steals) and we invested a lot in Frank Ntilinka to run the point, and a lot of people want to see Mudiay get minutes to see what he can do.

We have a new coach who emphasizes positionless basketball which I think doesn't really work in Burke's favor as a scoring PG but as a Knicks and UM fan, I am super happy at what Trey's done to get here the past couple years.
