A little fun to be had on this LONG week

Submitted by trueblue262 on October 16th, 2018 at 3:55 PM

Not sure if I got the link right or not, but this is a fun little website........I should warn you to not look ahead on  the schedule. Best to only look at this weeks opponent. This weeks game is the most important game (this week)

Clearly I am looking forward to Saturday!

There is a lot of variability when you simulate every single down in a game. One simulation doesn't really mean much - you have to look at hundreds or thousands if you want a better indicator of how things will go.

Even then, there's always the chance that the real game is a statistical outlier from what would be expected. See Iowa-OSU last year.

My wonderful school district decided to move conferences up a month this year, so not only is this week dragging because it is Sparty Week, but it got twice as long because of conferences.

I'm already 0 for 2 on parents showing up; which gives me some more time here on the blog. Last year I had right around 20% of parents show, and based on the communication (or lack thereof) I've been able to have so far this school year, I would be surprised if I even get 20% participation this time around.

A handsome win for the Wolverines, and a crushing defeat for their oldest foe.
