Chris Evans appreciation thread.
It was great to see Chris Evans back last night. He may not have made a huge impact on the field. But I would like to spotlight what he does off the field. He started a youth sports organization called C.E. Stars. It’s a non profit where his mission statement is “athletes of now helping athletes of the future”. Here’s a link to his website where you can check out the good work he’s doing and maybe even support him in any way you can—with your wallet or with your time. I’m very impressed that someone managing undergrad studies and D1 football could also start a non profit. Go Blue and nice work Chris!

I know Chris personally as he is an Indy native. He surprised my son on his 10th birthday with an appearance at his birthday party. He brought a football back from Michigan practice and signed it and gave it to him. He is a very generous person with prodigious talent. We are going to need him a lot in the big games coming up. He will be extremely valuable in the weeks to come. Hats off to CE12!

Best of luck to the young man - he has a great opportunity open to him just now (athletics, education, service, youth, etc.) and I hope he uses it to the fullest.

I love when Chris Evans gets the ball

They should throw him the ball. He'd be a bigger threat receiving. He is not being used to his potential.

Agree. Maybe they are saving some of that stuff for MSU, PSU, and OSU?

Also agree. He was huge vs OSU last year. Played his heart out. And love seeing him grind like that

I was walking on campus last Sunday and someone zips past me on a scooter, angular hair blowing in the breeze. It’s Evans. Dude looks like he’s having a maximum time all the time. And it’s awesome.
