I'm calling Paul Chryst "Turtle" from now on. Kind of looks like turtle, even. Anyway, Turtle is now soup.

And you can't have one without the other...

Per Winovich, the Revenge Tour is on!

The offense was actually - dare I say it - fun to watch! How often has that happened against a top team in recent years?

Clearly our players love to feast on turtles.  Back to back blowout wins - first turtles and then turtle coach.  It will not be hard to use that metaphor against a green team next week, too. Eat all the turtles ?!

Most completely satisfying win since...ND 2006??? Chryst is gonna have some explaining to do. Punting down 3 scores is one thing, but what about barely playing Taylor in the second half? Was he hurt?

That game was super fun. I was trying to convince myself that it wasn’t a blowout the whole second half but our defense was just smothering. What a performance by them and our offense!!  I loved seeing us move the ball well. Shea is such a huge playmaker. He is fucking awesome.  And I’m glad to see that we were able to get the running game going. That just helps build confidence. Another three phases dominant performance.

M fans before the game: "This the THE BIGGEST GAME OF JIM HARBAUGH'S CAREER!  Please win Jim, pretty pretty pretty please?"

M fans after the game: "It was all right I guess, but Muppet-worthy?  Eh, I don't know man.  Maybe if they didn't give up that late TD."

We could not stop Taylor. So glad he barely played him and punted or passed on so many 4th and 3rd and so short we had no shot of stopping htem.

While a win is a win. Remember this is a Wisconsin team that just gave up 518 yards to Nebraska the week before. We weren’t playing a typical Wisconsin defense. Michigan State’s defense will be a much tougher test next weekend. Michigan’s defense looked great against a very very good Wisconsin offensive line. While they didn’t stop Taylor they did slow him down. I wonder, we saw so much less of him in the second half he is definitely their most powerful weapon running behind that offensive line. He got four plus yards on almost every carry. I thought their plan was to just grind our defense down, but I guess they were forced to go away from it, due to the score. Their depleted defense just wasn’t up to that game plan. The pass rush was just good enough to get into Hornibrook’s head and our secondary played out of their mind’s. I think that might have been the best I’ve seen a secondary play in quite some time. Watson has really come on and Hill and Long are as good or better than anyone.

One thing that really worries me is our red zone offense, attempting five field goal against a defense as depleted as Wisconsin’s is not a good sign. If we don’t get a lot better at it better defenses will make us pay for it. We won’t be able to get away with it at Michigan State next weekend. I think if we attempt five field goals against Michigan State our defense will have to win the game for us.
