Tarik Black playing tomorrow?

Submitted by UofMfanINcolumbus on October 13th, 2018 at 12:53 AM

First post of the board, sorry if I do something incorrect. Is there a chance Tarik Black plays tomorrow? A lot of rumors floating around that he might plus he just twitted this. Mods delete if this isn’t relevant.

Edit because I don’t know how to do so on the original post, announcers for the South Florida va Tulsa game said he was back tomorrow also. They could be wrong though.

I'm only good for insider recruiting info.  I'm as clueless as those announcers when it comes to injuries.  I'd prefer that he be held out if it means a greater chance of full weaponization later.  I think we can beat Wisconsin without him.

That would be insanely fast recovery but very welcomed. Black-DPJ-Collins-Gentry, its time to unleash Shea. I'll try to hold down my excitement until he hits the field

I must preface this by saying, i'm not from Michigan, but have been a fan most of my life... Been on the boards for years, basically just reading daily... I'm from Philly, and went to the same H.S. that gave us Victor Hobson & Jon Runyan Jr. In fact, I worked in We call it soda... was funny the first time I heard someone call it soda pop... but then when I met some people from Michigan later in life, and talking Michigan sports, I got into this exact debate... it's not even soda pop... it's just pop! lol

the other ongoing debate we had was sneakers vs tennis shoes... My Michigan homies would ask wtf are "sneakers", and i'd ask, did Jordan create a line of "tennis" shoes to play bball in?

I’m semi not worried about Wisconsin, but if Tarik does play and he’s at least 80% watch out. DPJ, Tarik, Nico, and Gentry? Plus Wisconsins shit DBs, I would think Michigan walks away with this one.

Not sure that Tarik would be an upgrade on DPJ or Nico given this would be his first game in over a year. But at the very least he would give Wisc something else to think about. And he'd be up to speed by PSU.

The one great thing: we have three young studs with NFL futures as possible either a 1 or 2. And Martin is developing, too.

Either God or DPJ himself must have seen that one dumb post where the OP asked if DPJ is a bust, because he busted out since that week. Last week his one TD and his called back one just further showed how good DPJ when the ball gets to him.

Nico needs consistency, but he’s so good at so young an age. This reminds me of the plug and play development of the old days—and how Hill and McClaurin are developing at OSU.
