Now that everyone has caught up on the background let's keep the money cannon going. The goal has been reached (which deserves a POSBANG) but also, medical bills are tricky. Let's get Ace a bigger safety net so he can actually rest and get on the mend!

The money cannon is an awesome thing to behold. Unique intersection of i) a person who has provided tons of thoughtful analysis and entertaining writing, ii) an online community of individuals who actually care about someone else and appreciate the work Ace put in relative to the first point, and iii) a group of people with the economic means to contribute to a truly worthy cause.

Everyone who can--please consider donating. Especially now that the initial monetary goal has been reached, I would imagine Ace will be moved by the number at the bottom (number of people donating) as much as by the top number. Even if you only give $5, it will help reach a target of 1,000 people donating--which would be an incredible testament to the MGoBlog community.
