Confirmed as an AC joint injury that he's been working through for a majority of the season.

He could have played today but was held out by Harbaugh to recover for next week.

He will play next week.

No update on Dwumfour or Kemp.

All from Harbaugh's post game presser:

I broke one of the the bones that comprises the AC joint 3 years ago. Its two little bones in the tyop of the shoulder joined with connective tissue. Its a non-surgical injury. Its painful and PT did nothing to help. Ive been told its something I will have to live with. Im 53 though not 21 so Rashan has hope.

That's what I initially thought as well. High-ankle sprains are incredibly painful. But when they said achilles I realized it also could have been that as well.

In physical therapy, athletes suffering from high ankle injuries report some of the highest pain scores of all injuries.

For his career, let's hope it's the ankle sprain. Even though the high-ankle could just as easily be season-ending, it typically is a much easier/higher percentage recovery.

Dwumfour’s injury looked bad. I would not be surprised if he is out the rest of the season.
