Be prepared for 2 home night games

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on October 1st, 2018 at 5:20 PM

Heard this from someone I know who has it on good authority that Michigan-Penn State will be a night game and it has been confirmed as a night game even before the season started.

I've never been one to make a thread like this but I'm calling my shot on this one and let the chips fall where they may.

This morning when the news came out about next weekend being a night game I checked with them on it and even after asking them about how there was a 2 for 1 deal with 2 night game sin 2017 in exchange for 1 in 2018, they still told me it's happening.

So prepare yourselves. Be early, be loud. For all the remaining games starting with this Saturday at Noon.

OK. This is unprecendented? Not exactly. It happened last year. And here's the thing, one network gets a night game, and another gets the other. Wow, shocking that TV networks that rule college football, get to dictate game times. Like this is a new thing. Harbaugh worked in the NFL where you have no control over when you play. And people are acting like money doesn't matter in telivising games. Well, it does. Life is short. Wake up and accept reality.

Yeah, I don't get this sudden rash of complaints. Did the Netflix watchers forget what broadcast TV was like over the last 8 months?

It's been like this for as long as I can remember.

Since DVRs I really have no complaints. Start watching when you want, get up when you want, skip 30 seconds when appropriate. How hard is this.

I agree, I honestly think they are pumping sub wolfers to make the ground shake like so many players claim happen at that stadium during a white out. We need to up our game as the 12th man and spend the coin for free towels/pom poms under every seat, and mic the crowd noise. It's not as if Michigan doesn't have the money.

Yes it is and it will be cold. They have been planning as if Nov 3 was going to be night game all along. Wisky and Nebraska were the question marks. They haven't announced anything due to TV requirements and contracts.

Yeah, cold. Cancel that game. But wait, maybe Jim Harbaugh's brain will freeze and he will move Brandon Peters up to 2nd string, ahead of Dylan McCaffrey, like you say it should be. So, don't cancel the game.
