Webb said today on wtka that he is pretty much set up to get bumped to a 5 star status. Given our history of 5 star RBs, I hope he remains a high 4 star. Maybe one spot away from 5 star.

This feels much different from our other 5-star backs. Most of them were highly ranked from the beginning due to being more physically gifted than their peers and either stayed the same or fell in the rankings a bit. Charbonnet is no doubt very physically gifted, but he seems to be still developing and is rising significantly in the rankings. My money is on him to break our 5-star RB curse!

I would be happy to take a 5 star RB every year and take our chances. I hope he gets the star. He deserves it.

Well, I'm not an idiot, so I hope he performs well enough to earn a fifth star. Don't know why you'd root against our guys just because of a stupid superstition.

Should be a fun game to watch. Oaks Christian is the top local team in the area here. Charbonnet had 19 carries for 218 yards and 2 touchdowns last week. He is a really nice high school player and a great Cali pick-up for Michigan.

I’m going to see Buchanan vs De La Salle or else I would drive down to Bakersfield to see him live. Hoping I can catch one of his games this year. My kids go to Buchanan and they have a 2020 5 Star RB, Kendall Milton, that I’m excited to watch. Isaiah Foskey for De La Salle looks the part of a D1 TE

Will check some of this game out. Kind of surprised Michigan never stayed on his teammate Kayvon Thibodeaux, he had really high interest in UM early and has expressed a desire to leave California for college.
