Humidity isn't a term that should bother you...it's just a generic term for describing how humid it is. There are several ways to measure it, and at least imo there is no implication that humidity means "relative humidity" specifically. Dew point and relative humidity are both measures of humidity.  As are lesser-known quantities specific humidity and absolute humidity. Dew point is definitely most appropriate for this situation though.

Are you really going to die on this hill? What would you suggest? I mean, I am pretty sure the players are well-hydrated and eat a decent diet, which are two of the absolute best things you can do to prevent cramping. Would you, oh, have them lather up in Icy Hot?

Are you always this snarky or is it just that time of the month?

There is no hill to die on, people keep saying how hot and humid it is and I've presented evidence that it's nothing out of the ordinary. Do I think we need to make a big deal out of all the cramping, no, but I think it's something that needs to be explored because it's happening more frequently than I can ever remember.

There is some irony in a guy complaining about cramping trotting the tired, retrograde insult of "time of the month."

I get it.  You don't like players having cramps.  But you seem profoundly unhappy with the current state of the program generally, and you really are spending a ton of time arguing about the weather.

I don't want to be a back in the day guy, but...

When I was an underclassman living in pre-air conditioned South Quad, we always had about 10 days of brutally hot and humid weather in September.  There is something odd going on throughout football.  Living in the far southwest now and watching the pac coast games, there is a rash of cramping going on more3 then I recall.  Interesting if there is some "new" trend in preparation for games that leads to a lower hydration level creating the environment for cramping. Group thoughts?

If he hadn't made that pick and in particular if he hadn't scored, the second half would have had a lot more of a "oh no here we go again" feel to it.
