How to watch the game tomorrow?

Submitted by NowTameInThe603 on

I am a Comcast customer on the east coast so no BTN for me.

I know Comcast got a deal done with FoxSports but I am not aware if that solved the issue with BTN. Either way I've come to accept not paying another $15 a month for games against heavyweights like SMU and Rutgers.

Is firstrowsports still a thing? Are there any new streaming sites I should know about?

It will still work as Comcast does have BTN in other markets. I had the same concern with Midco here in South Dakota (which did eventually bring back BTN). I was still able to access BTN2Go and the foxsports app using my Midco log in since they still had those channels in other markets. Super simple to stream through phone or smart TV.

I usually use a television. It provides audio and visual, which I have come to prioritize. Very little smell of hot dogs or sense of wind and stadium vibration, but it's fine. I actually don't need those to follow the game.

Watching the game from the stands is the best way.  You'll be able to find tix for $20-$30 right before kickoff.

But if you don't want to purchase TV related things, reddit is the way to go

I know this works for me on Charter Spectrum, but unsure if it works with Comcast / Xfinity.

If you have a smart TV, Roku, Amazon stick, game console, etc. you can download either the BTN2GO or FoxSportsGo apps (both show B1G games). From there you just need to follow the instructions they provide. It just requires authenticating your cable subscription by logging in under your account.

-Download the app

-Select a game you want to watch (this will prompt an activate screen with some instructions)

-Follow the instructions (normally just involves going to a website on your phone, entering the code on the screen and then signing in to your cable account from your phone)

-Once you've entered the activation code, give your device a few seconds and it should give you access.

This is not as complicated as it appears. It takes me two minutes, just make sure you have your cable login (typically just an email and password). My wife and I live in Grand Rapids and use her parents' cable subscription (they live in Detroit) and get pretty much every game every Saturday.

Hopefully this helps!

Comcast added BTN for all markets on august 31. Use you voice remote and ask for BTN. That’ll give you the channel number. You have to call them as they haven’t updated the website yet. Also, they are running a deal - 12 months if he Sports Package for $4.99/Mo. Do it for basketball if not football. The activation is immediate so you can do it Saturday.

Before I got Hulu TV with the BTN, I would go up to my local BWW. BWW carried the B1G and as long as I order something they would put the Michigan game on one of their televisions.

Get a firestick , you need to have internet/wifi and an hdmi port on your tv .  I can put you in touch with an IPTV service .

$10 a month and you can get damn near all games , HD quality .

Plus youll get much more . Most , if not all US cable tv stations, many local channels .  which includes NBC, Fox, CBS, and ABC. multiple feeds , east and west coast .

Video on demand that has many popular movies and kids movies.

Pay per view events , NFL sunday ticket , NBA NHL and MLB , all games with home and away feeds . many 24/7 channels of popular favorites .

I would be happy to help and explain how all of this works to any interested  Michigan fan .

I make no money from this . I have found a reliable service that i pay for , im happy to share it with you all .

There are free apps out there , but i spend more time trying to get them to work than actually watch any free channels .  If you are interested message me.  It would make things easier if we can chat via Facebook, that is where i speak to the seller of this service .

I am Bill. email is [email protected]

If you have a trusted relative who has a cable package with BTN included, you could download the BTN app use their login info to watch.

For added bonus I can then cast it on the TV with Chromecast.

Spotty sometimes but is better than missing the game. Hope this helps.
