How to watch the game tomorrow?
I am a Comcast customer on the east coast so no BTN for me.
I know Comcast got a deal done with FoxSports but I am not aware if that solved the issue with BTN. Either way I've come to accept not paying another $15 a month for games against heavyweights like SMU and Rutgers.
Is firstrowsports still a thing? Are there any new streaming sites I should know about?

This is all you need to know - https://www.reddit.com/r/CFBStreams/

To either of you that responded.
I do have a Reddit log in from the Risk game over the summer if thats necessary. Will streams populate on the link you provided when games start?

The reddit streams go in and out and are tricky (since the sites are laced with spy/ malware). I tested the NFL Streams last night and it hasn't changed since last year. The NFL ones kept crashing or pausing too.
How are the Discord server streams?

Try the ace streams that get posted.

Thanks. I will (not so much for the Michigan game, because I get FS1, but I want to cut cable if and only if I can reliably stream them).

I was in Europe for the ND game and r/cfbstreams worked beautifully the whole time (figures, right?)
September 14th, 2018 at 2:02 PM ^
You don't need to login to reddit to click on the links and watch the game. Just follow that link 30 min before game time and find the Michigan vs. SMU game and click on whatever stream you want to use.
Just make sure you use Adblock.

Every week https://www.reddit.com/r/CFBStreams/ has whatever game you're looking for.

Short-term, maybe a free trial to a Youtube TV or Playstation Vue?
September 14th, 2018 at 10:57 AM ^
yep hulu live will give you a one week free trial and they carry BTN, FS1, ESPn, ESPN2, ABC, Fox

BTN is available for me with Comcast again here in Colorado, just added the Sports Entertainment Package back to my account yesterday.
September 14th, 2018 at 2:11 PM ^
This. I didn't see it advertised, but they added back to the Sports Entertainment Package for all areas a little bit before the season.
September 14th, 2018 at 5:48 PM ^
Props to madtadder....I am also on Colorado and was literally on the phone with Comcast dropping the package..then I see this post..and BAM! O$U vs. Bowling Green soccer is back on.
Return to too old and lazy to cut the cord.
September 14th, 2018 at 5:58 PM ^
I did the same. I think they made it available sometime this week.

FoxSportGo app. It's free and you can login with your TV provider and they have all BTN games on there app.
September 14th, 2018 at 11:08 AM ^
I think that only works if your provider has BTN.
September 14th, 2018 at 12:16 PM ^
As noted by another poster, accessing BTN still requires that you have BTN through your TV provider. If you don't, you'll be prompted to subscribe.
September 14th, 2018 at 1:17 PM ^
It will still work as Comcast does have BTN in other markets. I had the same concern with Midco here in South Dakota (which did eventually bring back BTN). I was still able to access BTN2Go and the foxsports app using my Midco log in since they still had those channels in other markets. Super simple to stream through phone or smart TV.

You Tube TV!!
September 14th, 2018 at 11:01 AM ^
I usually use a television. It provides audio and visual, which I have come to prioritize. Very little smell of hot dogs or sense of wind and stadium vibration, but it's fine. I actually don't need those to follow the game.
September 14th, 2018 at 11:13 AM ^
Watching the game from the stands is the best way. You'll be able to find tix for $20-$30 right before kickoff.
But if you don't want to purchase TV related things, reddit is the way to go

All the streaming cable services (YouTube TV, Sling, PSVue, etc.) offer free trials of various lengths. Just sign up for one, watch the game, and cancel it.
September 14th, 2018 at 11:37 AM ^
Come on over.... I'll supply the wings and yuengling, just don't bring any hummus with you.
September 14th, 2018 at 12:50 PM ^
I’d drive from Kalamazoo just for the yuenglings!!!! Always pick up a couple cases if I’m in Pennsylvania!
September 14th, 2018 at 2:16 PM ^
it's actually in ohio now.... so there's that.

BTN is now available on Comcast in NH. I had it added last Friday.

Pay the $15

I know this works for me on Charter Spectrum, but unsure if it works with Comcast / Xfinity.
If you have a smart TV, Roku, Amazon stick, game console, etc. you can download either the BTN2GO or FoxSportsGo apps (both show B1G games). From there you just need to follow the instructions they provide. It just requires authenticating your cable subscription by logging in under your account.
-Download the app
-Select a game you want to watch (this will prompt an activate screen with some instructions)
-Follow the instructions (normally just involves going to a website on your phone, entering the code on the screen and then signing in to your cable account from your phone)
-Once you've entered the activation code, give your device a few seconds and it should give you access.
This is not as complicated as it appears. It takes me two minutes, just make sure you have your cable login (typically just an email and password). My wife and I live in Grand Rapids and use her parents' cable subscription (they live in Detroit) and get pretty much every game every Saturday.
Hopefully this helps!
September 14th, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
If BTN isn't included in your cable subscription, then you can't access the game through the apps. The apps don't somehow let you view the game if your TV provider doesn't do so.
September 14th, 2018 at 4:19 PM ^
I think BTN needs to be part of your package for the app to work, but I have allowed people in my family to use my Comcast login in order to access the app since it is part of mine here in the Detroit area. The buddy system is still a decent system.

Join the Discord - https://discord.gg/VEdcKTr
The stream URL listed in the general channel streams all the Michigan games. My ask is that you join the Discord server and not copy/paste the stream URL.
September 14th, 2018 at 2:07 PM ^
Just buy the Sports and Entertainment package through Comcast at $10 a month..Includes BTN, The Redzone, Sec and Pac 12 games
September 14th, 2018 at 2:22 PM ^
Comcast added BTN for all markets on august 31. Use you voice remote and ask for BTN. That’ll give you the channel number. You have to call them as they haven’t updated the website yet. Also, they are running a deal - 12 months if he Sports Package for $4.99/Mo. Do it for basketball if not football. The activation is immediate so you can do it Saturday.
September 14th, 2018 at 4:17 PM ^
Before I got Hulu TV with the BTN, I would go up to my local BWW. BWW carried the B1G and as long as I order something they would put the Michigan game on one of their televisions.

Get a firestick , you need to have internet/wifi and an hdmi port on your tv . I can put you in touch with an IPTV service .
$10 a month and you can get damn near all games , HD quality .
Plus youll get much more . Most , if not all US cable tv stations, many local channels . which includes NBC, Fox, CBS, and ABC. multiple feeds , east and west coast .
Video on demand that has many popular movies and kids movies.
Pay per view events , NFL sunday ticket , NBA NHL and MLB , all games with home and away feeds . many 24/7 channels of popular favorites .
I would be happy to help and explain how all of this works to any interested Michigan fan .
I make no money from this . I have found a reliable service that i pay for , im happy to share it with you all .
There are free apps out there , but i spend more time trying to get them to work than actually watch any free channels . If you are interested message me. It would make things easier if we can chat via Facebook, that is where i speak to the seller of this service .
I am Bill. email is [email protected]

If you have a trusted relative who has a cable package with BTN included, you could download the BTN app use their login info to watch.
For added bonus I can then cast it on the TV with Chromecast.
Spotty sometimes but is better than missing the game. Hope this helps.
