I hate you for making me aware of this. I could have continued on in complete, blissful ignorance. (we lost 3-2 after conceding 2 in the last 5 minutes to take it to overtime, where we lost on a golden goal after having our golden goal shot go off the post)

Walked into a dinner spot and saw the game in the 3rd quarter and figured it had to be a replay.
Then thought, hmm, maybe there ARE some games that will be live tonight, so I checked the schedule and saw that BC was marked as live.
Weird timing indeed.

They did say they moved the kickoff up two hours to get BC out ahead of the hurricane.
Also, they had a "random" BC fan read the Monday Night Football promo, which turned out to be MNF's Joe Tessitore, the father of BC's kicker. For a Thursday night game, it was dumb fun.

It's crazy how mediocre Wake Forest is on defense though. They toss the ball to Dillon on the right hand side and nobody can even reach him until he runs 20 yards.

Man, BC's score to go up 41-27 was a beautiful pass/catch to the receiver. QB put it up in the air before the CB turned around and the WR just went up and got it. I'd love to see Patterson do that with DPJ or Collins. Both of them are athletic enough to just go up and get the ball and make a play after the catch.

Bigger deal is Scot Loeffler is back with Adazzio as his OC (like at Temple) and BC looks really good with AJ in power and the play-action pass.
For those who don't know, Scot is a Michigan man and former starting QB before injury.

Scot was never the starting QB here. Todd Collins was the starting QB his first two seasons here. In 1993, I believe Jay Riemersma was the #2 and Jason Carr was #2 in 1994.
