She looks exactly like every 30-40 year old Sparty woman that I know.  She's probably a school psychologist who is married to a guy in middle management somewhere.  She is probably extremely proud of her MSU alum status, but doesn't realize that her pride comes exclusively from the fact that they've dominated us in football for the last decade.  She probably gets a bit too drunk off of $11.99/bottle wine at parties and outkicks her intellectual coverage and ends up looking like a belligerent fool.  She probably runs a bunch of 5Ks and thinks she is smoking hot by virtue of the fact that she's not fat.  Basically half the women in my social circle.

Actually this whole thing just exemplifies Dantonio's abject failure of leadership (though I'm not complaining, I'm just stating).

He's been the coach for a while now. There's no excuse to allow or not negotiate around a game where the second half is going to be played three hours past normal player bed times, but not for the opposing team. If you watched it, you saw the wheels come off after 1:30 am. It's common knowledge, backed by well cited scientific studies, that performance metrics decrease late at night.

The present study determined whether central information processing is subject to a circadian rhythm and, therefore, contributes to the well-known time-of-day effect on reaction time (RT). To assess the duration of central processing chronometrically, we employed the psychological refractory period (PRP) paradigm. In this task, subjects make fast responses to two successive stimuli. RT to the second stimulus is usually prolonged as the interval between the two stimuli decreases. This PRP effect is commonly attributed to a central-processing bottleneck. Subjects performed the PRP task every 2 hr during 28 hr of constant wakefulness under controlled conditions. The PRP effect was most pronounced in the early morning. We conclude that central processing is subject to a circadian rhythm, exhibiting a slowing during the night and a nadir in the early morning.

It’s about time ASU stood up! The wifey and I live down the block from Pinnacle Peak High School. We feel like we should root for the neighborhood kid Lewerke, but we hate sparty too much. The heat and the late, late night did them in.

GO BLUE!
