Fe Fi Fo Film---When Do Those Get Published?
Topic speaks for itself.
I really love the Fe Fi Fo Film series this year & I often print out the cards & laminate them when I go to games. I'm fortunate that my MGoWife got me ND tickets for my birthday, but we are leaving for South Bend first thing Saturday morning.
I'd really love the chance to print out/laminate the Fe Fi Fo Film diagrams sometime today or tomorrow morning---does anybody know when they typically get published?

In case anyone is interested, we have put together a totally free, feature-packed community experience over at maizemafia.com. Some of the key features include:
- Mature mobile-app experience with up-vote integration;
- Ability to auto-minimize your "foes";
- Direct messaging between users;
- Auto-tweets for all user-generated board topics for easier board tracking;
- Highly customizable user interface;
- Auto-embed of Twitter, YouTube, and most other kinds of media; and
- Again, totally free.
Michigan fans have proven to be more than capable of sustaining a community with user-generated content. We wanted to present a platform that could sufficiently accommodate such a community. The Maize Mafia hopes to provide that platform.
The sole focus will be the community, so please don't hesitate to vocalize feature requests or feedback within the forum information topic. Hope to see you over there. Go Blue!

I don't want to know what happens if I click this link......
August 30th, 2018 at 4:38 PM ^
All good things. Unless you value your time... Then, sorry.
EDIT: In all seriousness, we are just launching. Everything is there except the users. More features will be added if there's something missing, but we tried to gather ideas from many of the comments posted here and elsewhere over the last couple of months in order to present this with everything Michigan fans were looking for in a community forum.

So do you just straight up steal all board posts here and repost them? You even stole the Devin Bush highlight reel that the guys dad posted here.
August 30th, 2018 at 5:01 PM ^
Since launching yesterday, we've been posting good content from all over the web. The idea is to have good content that might be interesting to Michigan fans and generate discussion.
August 30th, 2018 at 4:58 PM ^
I think that the fact that clearly many of us have been here for years posting feverishly tells you all you need to know about how we value our time.
Ringing endorsement and intentional self-own here, I know

You can also follow along on Twitter, which auto-tweets any time a new post is created on the board: https://twitter.com/theMaizeMafia
August 30th, 2018 at 5:05 PM ^
In that case you should cite this as the source, Ex: retrieved from MGOBlog. Or demonstrate a more verified extension of the entity mgoblog.
August 30th, 2018 at 5:08 PM ^
Ah, sorry if that wasn't clear. The Twitter feed pulls from the Maize Mafia, not from MGoBoard. That was a feature lost in the move to 3.0 that people expressed an interest in.
August 30th, 2018 at 5:25 PM ^
So you pull things from, among other places, MGoBlog, post them on your website, then auto-tweet a "new" post on Maize Mafia based on an MGoBlog post..... If true.... gfy.

Do you also make $36,975 each month working from home on your computer? Should I join your Affiliate Marketing course for 10 easy payments of $739,086??

Sadly, can't help you there. I'm just a guy (and some help) who misses the mobile app (a lot). I am not trying to be, replace, or compete with MGoBlog. I've been a registered user here since 2008 (different name of course), and I intend to continue spending an inappropriate amount of time here because I think the front-page content is excellent and unique.
I came to use the app (pretty much constantly) to refresh the board and to stay engaged in a lot of very good discussions about Michigan football and other similar interests. The app's disappearance was disappointing to me. I had a post written up in one of the "bugs" threads about how there's an opportunity for someone to create a feature-packed board that has a mobile app, and, before hitting the submit button, I thought why not take a take a stab at it. I figured others might be interested in a board that's really designed to be a board with all of the modern features available.
So that's what I made. If people aren't interested, that's fine. It was a fun summer project, and it's just sitting there if people want to use it.
August 30th, 2018 at 6:04 PM ^
So you decided to make your own mgoblog, with blackjack and hookers? Cool. And then you decided to promote it here to woo active users that are not pleased with the post-redesign forum functionality, or lack thereof?
Kind of a dick move, no?
August 30th, 2018 at 6:15 PM ^
I don't think so. If there's demand for an actual forum, as opposed to a blog, which this site is, people can use it. I'm not leaving this site and wouldn't expect others to either.
EDIT: I'll put it this way. I found myself wanting to use certain aspects of MGoBlog as a forum, which it is not, and then feeling disappointed that it wasn't a better forum, which is unfair. Brian didn't create a forum. He created a blog. And I don't think he wants to run a forum, which is obviously fine. Maybe I'm the only one who wants a forum. I don't think I am, but that doesn't really matter.
I'm not making money off this. There's really nothing in it for me except an improved forum experience, which is what I want, if people decide to use it. I'll see some of you in South Bend this weekend, I'm sure. Go Blue!

I've had similar thoughts. I'd love to see the traffic stats for this site before and after the redesign. Because the forums were way busier and easier to use in the before time .
Good luck. I'll check it out.

I just checked and it looks like there maybe wasn't FFFF before the Florida game last year.
August 30th, 2018 at 4:38 PM ^
It seems like a difficult column to make when there's no current film to fe fi fo.
August 30th, 2018 at 4:40 PM ^
Your point is valid. Also fee fi fo is my new favorite verb, thank you.
August 30th, 2018 at 4:40 PM ^
kind of yes. kind of no. when you talk about manball or basketball on grass thats pretty easy to know year after year. Dangerman is also a pretty safe bet unless you turnover a lot of people and its a *or* *or* *or* position
August 30th, 2018 at 4:37 PM ^
IIRC Ace always did those, but Ace has been waylaid by illness for a while now. So they might not be making an appearance this year, for a while at least.
August 30th, 2018 at 4:40 PM ^
They didn't get posted for UF last year, wouldn't expect one for Notre Dame.
August 30th, 2018 at 4:41 PM ^
I don't believe FFFF makes an appearance until the week of the second game as season preview stuff dominates everything else.
August 30th, 2018 at 5:04 PM ^
FFFF is one my favorite posts on this site :(
August 30th, 2018 at 5:16 PM ^
Less draftageddon, more FFFF
Get off my lawn.

“Hey Brian...I know you do a lot for the blog and everything, but...”
August 30th, 2018 at 5:29 PM ^
LOL, true.
But to be fair, my question wasn't a demand, it was more of a question. Undoubtedly the guys are cranking out *content* at a very rapid pace this week. Totally understandable if they wait for FFFF until week #2.
August 30th, 2018 at 6:13 PM ^
Ace/Seth write those, right?
August 30th, 2018 at 8:18 PM ^
Doesn't that require film, and doesn't film require the opponent to have played a game?
