Happy Game Week!
At the last HomeSure Lending / MGoEvent I met a guy named Ryan (Vonkleist) on the boards. He is smarter than me, a Michigan Engineering grad turned ND professor. He also has a backyard less than a mile from Touchdown Jesus.
Ryan has offered said backyard from 2-6:30 for a gathering of the MGoNerds. We plan on walking towards the game early so we are in our seats for warmups.
HomeSure Lending will be providing beer.
RSVP necessary, as he has a wife who would not approve of this going full-on Animal House. If you want to attend, hit me up and I will get you the details.

I haven't been for a football game YET!, but we did beat their ass down there when I was on crew at Michigan... Still have the jersey to prove it as we bet jerseys before the regatta.

I work at ND and will be patrolling the lots (On-campus tailgate recycling is under my purvue). I have been getting comments about how awful Michigan fans were last time they came to ND. I don't know if it's valid, but if you're coming, be the gracious, cordial, recycling, and stand up people I've known to be Michigan fans my entire life. Thanks, and Go Blue!

I was at the last game in South Bend and have never seen parking lots like those after the game. It looked like every trash can had been emptied onto the lots with big mounds of garbage blocking in the cars. Are we assuming it was all due to Michigan fans just because we lost?

Unfortunately, that is the assumption of every person here. It was not a good look. We have never had an incident like that since, so it stands to reason.
