Mo Hurst records first sack (video - preseason)
Mo Hurst did his thing yesterday. He made his man look like a matador, engulfed the quarterback, and then rubbed his belly for good measure. 31 NFL teams will hopefully be kicking themselves for 10 years or so. Enjoy, he will be missed this year...

PFF’s #1 player with dominant statistics for a DT playing high D1 college football on an elite defense who was coached up by one of the best D-line coaches in history - dropped to the 5th round, #140 overall because of political concerns by cowardly franchises who don’t want to look like they will put a player in jeopardy. Never mind his clearance by UM doctors and the UM of the east to boot (that would be Harvard).

I hope I’m wrong, but I think a lot of people are underestimating how hard he will be to replace. I think our defense might take a small step back because he was such a phenomenal player.

It is still very shocking how long he sat undrafted before he was taken by the Raiders. They got a great player in Hurst. I'll miss seeing him in maize and blue.
