The U of M men take the field tomorrow at 7pm. Yes its in the soccer stadium, and they're probably fifth on the interest list of MGobloggers, but I'll be there in front of the Michigan Ultras cheering on the men in blue (white?). Shaka should have a good team this year and some of you should consider stopping by.

Here's a pic of  a nice sunset during a women's game.

p.s. it's free (exhibition) and the football team has been known to stop by for these early games when they have free time.

My job is driving me nuts, but...

1)  I am taking my son to Central Michigan tomorrow, so Fall is fast approaching.  That only means one thing.....

2) College Football is almost here!!!!

Bang me for parenting my first child into college and bang me for the pending domination of Michigan over Purple Face and the Dommers...............

Happy Friday! Two more to go! It's the first Friday staring out at Ford Lake while I work (work remotely), not too shabby! Take a deep breath...football is coming.

Bang me!!

Football season is my favorite time of year.

Fresh content every day — MGoBlog articles, podcasts, highlight reels, bits and updates.

Game-day excitement that glows the rest of the week and builds towards the next game.

To avoid crowding a different thread - any suggestions on where to watch the season opener while in Boulder, CO?  Would love to watch with other Michigan fans.  GO BLUE

I can't speak for Michigan watch parties in Boulder, but I visited my cousin who went to CU 2 years ago and he took me to a unique sports bar to watch college football - its called Dark Horse. They have an interesting set up with good food, good beer, and lots of TVs.

I just moved to the Denver area myself and looking for a good place to watch games! The bar locator says that there's a place called the Bohemian Biergarten in Boulder and there's Lodo Bar and Grill in Downtown Denver. Not sure about other places; I know there are some other Denver/Boulder people on the board that might know of more places?

I have a sibiling that goes to cu and I’ve watched some Michigan games at whatever the alumni bar is there. Can’t remeber the name but shouldn’t be hard to find with some research. The setup is very cool they dedicate the whole back room to the game set up on a big projector and play the fight song after every touchdown with trivia and giveaways during commercials I’d recommend it. I personally was there to witness 2016 Iowa and 2017 MSU and 2017 osu though so I consider myself  a curse to the team when at that bar and won’t go there anymore hahah

“Great leader like all the other quarterbacks. Great arm. Great awareness. Play-calling. Blah, blah, blah. It’s just like all the other quarterbacks,” said Evans, who drew laughs from the media. “That’s about it.”

great comment from Chris Evans

At the end of last season I was pretty down, but I think Harbaugh made the right off-season moves and now we have some really good options at quarterback.  Re-subscribed to Youtube TV, I'm ready for M to blow the doors off Knute Rockne's joint.
