This is probably my favorite raw stat for predicting defensive success. YPP is important, and no surprise that we've been elite in the last few years.

Also, OSU is the only school in the top ten in both offense and defense YPP. Yeah, they've been really good yall.

How 'bout them Aztecs? Top ten defense over the playoff era, plus an offense that has a 2000 yard rusher seemingly every year running the I form like an old USC team. I know Rocky Long is old, but it's kinda weird he never gets brought up as a great G5 coach.
