Shutdown Fullcast 8/7/18

Three minutes in and it already stings. As if Fryin Nanni at the Outback Bowl wasn't traumatic enough.

It was a good gimmick for 30 minutes and then they ran out of steam.  And not making a Fulmer joke (with Holly involved!) when they go to the coaches poll section proved them to be imposters. (I'm kidding, but still)

For those wondering “Shutdown Fullcast” is a college football podcast and the hosts preview Michigan’s schedule on the latest episode.  As a gag they previewed it pretending to be Michigan fans.  If you can laugh at yourself it’s not too bad.  If you can’t, don’t bother.

Haven't been a fan of this gimmick this offseason, although I had a feeling they were going to do us. I enjoyed the South Carolina episode, then this schtick got old, IMO.

I thought the Florida State episode was pretty good as well, but otherwise agree that the schtick in each episode is usually only funny for a couple minutes.

I also had a feeling they would do us, given the large Michigan contingent in their comment section, but thought there was a chance they would do either OSU given recent news (perhaps too edgy for their taste), or MSU. Lots of potential MSU material, from the whole disrespekt thing to preferring to play sloppy football in a monsoon to playing up the irony of MSU fans outraged about OSU (not saying there are lots of such fans, but it would be a bit the Fullcast crew could do).
