You're the first person to say that

Nope
2.0. 1.0 looked like this

2.0 > 1.0 >>>>3.0
Just the apps, ma'am.
"MGoBlog 1.0 emulator or something along those lines?"
So we're not doing complete sentences any more? Predicates? Verbs?
I note -- without condemnation -- the ironic inclusion of two non-complete sentences ("Predicates? Verbs?") in this grammatical critique. As it turns out, incomplete sentences are perfectly understandable in various contexts. No?
I prefer my MGoBlog as the 90s version - on paper and delivered to me every morning.
This reply plus your username is just perfect.
While getting to know my wife she asked me if they taught arrogance at Michigan. I told her it was a pre-requisite.

People complain about the old, outdated website, so they change it. Now people complain about the new website because it doesn't function like the old one.
As Kindergarten cop once said, "STOP WHINING!".
The only people that I EVER say complaining about the old site were complaining that it couldn't handle gameday traffic.
And it wasn't mobile-friendly. There was a mobile app that worked great but it had to be shut down because it didn't support ads ... but if there was a way to incorporate ads into that UI, it would have been great.
I don't think it was about revenue .you can make tons of money on mobile apps .I think it was a misguided attempt to cut costs on the mobile app, hoping the web would suffice .
They should just let a 3rd party build the app and do a review share agreement.
it was the apps pulling data constantly which bogged down the servers. too much fetching.
Or just have the HD app be a $3/mo subscription service...which I'd gladly pay.
Try to adapt. Be resilient to change. It's an important life skill. I have faith you can survive and adapt. If not, then I guess just appeal to the universe and hope the world changes for you.
No thanks to 1.0 but 2.0 would be a welcome return
I wonder what’s the correlation in age to complaining about the new website? This sounds like some patented Baby Boomer whining about change and a yearning for how things used to be...
I’m typically a mobile-site user, and it takes me literally two seconds to find the MGoBoard:
- Go to mgblog.com
- Hit the 3-drawer menu in the top-left corner
- Select MGoBoard
And then I’m here and can catch up on any news or rumors. Which, to be honest, is just as easy as going to the old mobile site, doing the “screen-pinch” to enlarge the MGoBoard on the side, and trying to discern thread titles.
I’m not going to say everything about the site is perfect, but it’s never crashed and it loads quickly so I’m not going to complain.
You’re a mobile user and don’t have a direct link to the Board on your phone?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I check the main site for any new articles first and then the second step is to check the board. I rarely ever go straight to the board.
But you’re correct, mgoblog.com/mgoboard would be the simplest direct route if I cared to frequent the message board.
Mgohottub edition is sorely needed
