ESPN commentator and former NBA star Jalen Rose got secretly married to fellow ESPN host Molly Qerim, sources exclusively told Page Six. An insider told us, “The media power couple married in the New York City area then boarded a flight to Turks and Caicos.” Qerim — who hosts the network’s “First Take” — posted on Instagram last week a shot of the couple on the island, in which she appears to be wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. The caption reads: “You could’ve been anywhere in the world, but you’re here with me. I appreciate that.” The couple’s reportedly been together for a while: Rose mysteriously referred to her as “wifey” in a 2016 tweet. A rep for ESPN did not comment.

I don't know man.  I just can't recommend marriage these days.  I think the film DivorceCorp is mandatory viewing for all the young bucks and old stags out there.

Jalen is 45 so congrats on getting a 34 year old wife. Hoping for him she is even half as kind, warm and pleasant as she is pretty.

Good luck man!

Bit of an overreaction to an innocuous statement don't ya think? Considering ~ half of all marriages fail and the fallout from those can be pretty emotionally + financially debilitating, it's reasonable that  some people question the purpose of a legal marriage. All else equal, if you love someone to no end, do you really need to get a court's recognition to consider that relationship valid? Any relationship that ought to evolve into marriage should have strong enough legs to support itself without a court document, shouldn't it? What's the point? Tax incentives?

I'll still probably get married one day myself, but I don't think it's reasonable to call someone a miserable sob because he questions dubious social protocol.

statistically married people live longer, have a higher income, and have more 'relations', so to speak, than single people.  the secret is to choose wisely - and that doesn't mean choose the craziest/drama queen/cutie/person who'll say 'yes' to you.   it means wisdom, skill in living, not rashly.  enjoy the wife of your youth, rejoice in the relationship.   tremendous mutual respect and care to one another.

beyond that, he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and finds favor with the Lord.

But not her uterus. Unfortunately, she has endometriosis per her wiki page. That absolutely sucks. I know someone with it and I wouldn't wish it on any ex gf I have. There are other things i wish upon them, but not that.
