DVR-2004 Michigan MSU Tonight

Submitted by goblue85 on

FYI- for your college football fix to continue with only 44 days until the opener.  2004 Michigan vs MSU 3OT classic will be on BTN tonight at 9pm.  I was at this game probably the best game I have ever been to my history of games, close 2nd though was the win at Notre Dame Denard Show.   Enjoy!

Favorite game I attended in person. The Sparty fan in front of me was trash talking and calling all of his Michigan friends to rub it in and then had to hang his head as the greatest Sparty Nooooo! moment of all time happened.

Starting secondary in that game had 3 1st team All Americans in Marlin Jackson, Ernest Shazor, and Leon Hall. Along with a future draft pick and nfl starter in Ryan Mundy

They have the Osu game on from 03 now. I can’t believe that since that win... 2011 is our only other win against them. This shit needs to flip man.

I have been on a binge lately watching early 2000’s games because I’ve exhausted all the HD games I have.

Chris Perry is the most talented RB Of the past 30 years. I didn’t appreciate him as much as I should have back when I was in school but in hindsight, he is in a league of his own

I remember watching that game at home with my 5 month old son.  He was snoozing away, I was having a few cold ones and I couldn't keep those damn trick or treaters from ringing the GD doorbell!!!  When you live in town it doesn't matter if the light is off or not!!!  What a great game!

I don't have a problem with these threads in general but every time someone posts a "set your DVR because _____ classic game is coming on" all I can think is - You do realize these are all available on Youtube to watch anytime you want, right?

Yeah I was at that game and it was a blast. Unfortunately this is the main problem, Michigan football is stuck in the past and can’t move forward. Need to find the John Beilein of football and hire him.
