There are...
...days until Chuck Heater (RB 1971-1974) sees a pounding Michigan running game that leaves the Irish defense begging for mercy, allowing for a 70s style maize and blue beatdown in South Bend!

For today's vid, some nostalgic coach's film of Mr. Heater's first edition of The Game:

Thanks WH as always and Go Blue!
watched that one and then checked the box scores thanks to google. we had about 330 yds of offense to their 140. they only had a handful of first downs the whole game and but for that punt return (yeah, it still counts...) ohio was shut out. and if we don't fumble the pitch on their 10, well maybe another score. some things never change.
lots of 3-4 defense with the 4 about 6" off the line.
As much as I can't wait for kickoff, I don't want my summer to end so fast. I think I need the time stone now that Thanos is done so I can zip ahead and watch the games from my pool...
For me, anything over 82-ish degrees is hell. So, July and somewhat June is absolutely unbearable without any football or other good sports to take in (basketball's done, Tigers suck). I actively wish for July to end and fall camp and August start to make the heat bearable. Then fall comes and I am in heaven.
