That was a helluva speech given by Jim Kelly.
I just turned on the ESPY's on and caught the Arthur Ashe Award. The amount of women on the stage right now is completely staggering.
Fuck you Larry Nassar, fuck you Michigan State, fuck you to everyone who takes advantage of those partakes or allows abuses like this to occur and continue.
That was, I believe, about half of his victims.
Are the ESPY's still a thing?
I would nominate any Detroit sportswriter / newscaster who actually bothered to report on the victims of the Izzo / Dantonio rape culture for the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. The silence in the local media is deafening.
I have said it before and I will say it again, if the same OTL story has come out about Harbaugh and Beilein they both would have been fired long ago. Partly because the Detroit media would have camped out on campus until both coaches were fired.
ESPN didn’t hold back when it came to slamming MSU over their complacency, nor should they have.
