OT: G.O.A.T: Food

Submitted by Wendyk5 on

It's mid-July and yeah, I'm ready for some football. In the meantime, I've been thinking about favorite foods and how tough it would be to pick just one. But suppose you had to pick one food that you would eat for every meal, for the rest of your life. Nutrition and calories don't matter, but you will have to forsake all others for eternity. What food would you pick?

How specific are we getting? For me it’d come down to Tacos, cheeseburger, or pizza. Do I have to specify the exact order and type of food (i.e. pepperoni pizza from Lou Malnati’s)?

My gut says Tacos from my favorite truck, especially if I can change the meat option as long as I’m ordering a taco from the same outfit. If not, I’ll take the burger from Fred’s in Atlanta or a pepperoni and tomato pizza from Lou Malnati’s.

Remember the good old days when we used to talk about football, basketball, hockey and when WD was fully engaged, the non-revenue sports played at Michigan?

Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Something high in fiber. (Maybe that should be filed under nutrition.) Jasper is old enough to value an uneventful "morning after."

There is no winning here.  Everything would get old pretty quickly.

At one point in my life the answer would have been easy: Double-Double, animal style.

My palate has matured a bit, so now I might say...the Bella Bella Benny from Snooze?

This reality would make me seriously contemplate the point of existing.

For me, it would probably be pizza.  Good Chinese or Thai food would come in a close second.

I've had standard meat/potatoes thing for a week or so straight and grew very tired of it.  But pizza, for whatever reason, is great day after day.

Pizza. Most any food day after day gets pretty dull, but pizza seems to not be the case. Or at least it takes a lot longer for it to be dull.

Pizza can come in a lot of varieties so that at least helps spice things up. Give me Lou Manalti’s pizza from Chicago and Lazzara’s Pizza From NYC and I’m a happy, happy man.

Ass cheeks and protein shakes. Just kidding, but on a serious note does anybody know when fall camp starts?

Do you remember The Turtle Soup Inn?

They had Dobermans on the roof.

They barked their asses off when we pulled up.

My Dad told me that we were eating Turtle Doberman Soup.

It was delicious.  I would eat that every day.

Hi! It is a very hard choice for me, Bro! How can I choose one dish to eat for every meal? Of course, it will bother you in a few months. Oh, well, let me see. I'll pick steaks. But only well-cooked steaks according to grillsgallery.com that tells how to cook the best steaks int he world. If you are interested, you can read about it too.
