With DJ Carton committing to OSU (boo), Watts is another potential guard option for Michigan. Michigan joins Michigan State, Louisville, Florida State, UConn, Xavier, Oregon, and Missouri in his top 8. Watts is a 4*, #37 in the country according to 247 and a 4*, #38 according to the composite

With Beilein, I’m not sure if you actually need to. He’s proven he can take a team led by highly recruited guys or a team led by guys who aren’t and get them both to the championship game, so recruiting isn’t as big a deal for him

It really isn’t though. He was a luxury if we got him. I think Dejulius will end up being better than Carton and I think he will push Simpson for minutes this year. Carton is going to a place in which it was important they got him, but that isn’t here
