Dang this site s$@&s ...tried to amend the tags and the darn thing posted...so I will continue mid  parenthetical thought...) so here is who I saw this weekend. The big name was Karan Higdon’s younger brother. He was here with 7v7 teammates. I will call him  Higdon the Younger since Karan just introduced himself to me and said this is his younger brother. He appears to have won his tournament with Chris Evans as his coach. I’ll bet he’s a generic three star about 5’3”, 120 maybe in the 7th grade. Also there was a kid from Kalamazoo with his family on a blanket at the 40yd line. His dad threw him a nerf football about 12 times and he didn’t catch a single one. Definitely PWO at best or Concordia or Adrian Colleges if he switches to the defensive side of the ball. There was 40 yd  dash winner — a 6’2” 180lb guy in a Woodson #2 jersey. His girlfriend timed him on her phone and said it was 6.8 seconds. She was standing at the 40 and he raised his arms as he crossed the goal line. Four fakes out of five. I did get a quote from the new strength coach Ben Herbert who addressed our football training meeting earlier, “I like to see how they do a one legged squat”. (By the way the players call him coach Herb). No coaches at Movie Night ...it’s the dead period ... but Tarik Black was there with one of the Green twins (don’t ask me which) and they stayed til near the end so they must be Panther fans.

This is all true, I never prevaricate and Go Blue.

I wonder where Magnus got the idea that Hill is visiting. I haven't heard that anywhere else. If he visits for the BBQ, then there's a great chance that he ends up committing here. I am very suspicious about the accuracy of this info though.

I didn't hear about any significant visitors for this past weekend. The month of July is usually when the coaching staff (of every school) goes on vacation, so you rarely see big visit weekends during the first few weeks of the month. That's why Michigan had their big recruiting weekend toward the end of June, and it's one reason why you see The Opening take place at the beginning of July - because none of those kids are taking visits at that time.

The next big recruiting weekend will be the BBQ, so don't expect much news on visitors this coming weekend, either.
