Looking like another warm weekend here in northern Michigan. What’s in your glass?

Bells Lager of the Lakes.

The kids just finished a week of Spring Hill camp and they're passed out already. I've got the house to myself and I'm binge watching documentaries that normal people don't care about on Netflix.

Life. Is. Good.

Stroh's Perserverance at this moment.  I had an Anchor Brewing Liberty before that.  This site is a wealth of micro-ish brew information and inspires me to hit the specialty beer stores.  Unfortunately, the bourbon conversation leaves me in the dust (goal is to catch up.)

Good shit!

If you want to be sexy, do 2 shots.  If you want to be funny, do 4 shots.  If you want to be popular, be the guy that brings it to the party.

What I got you got to get it put it in you!

Not sure why but I’ve been on a tall boy kick lately. It could be that there’s 4 more ounces in the can or that it annoys the shit out of my wife. Tonight it’s Oberon and Two Hearted.

Took a flyer at the ol’ Meijers and got a sizer of Flysian Dayglow IPA, from Seattle. It’s a little fruity, smooth, not quite hoppy enough for my liking but overall very good. The thing that sold me was the bottle is a tiger with colorful laser beams coming out of its eyes. After a few, I’m going to see Ant Man and the Wasp. Have a great Friday MGoBloggers!!

anniversary today, slaughtered livestock this afternoon in the heat - nothing says 'marry me all over again' like blood and cattle trailers.   about to have a decent red pop/merlot, and put some of our 'harvested' livestock on the grill - steaks to be exact.

2016 Piero Benevelli Langhe Nebbiolo. I already polished off the 2014 Peter DiPoli Sauvignon Blanc "Voglar" from the Alto Adige. Decent evening I'd say.
