OT: Pixies & Weezer Concert @ DTE - 2 Free Tickets 7/13/18

I will be unable to use my tickets for tomorrow's (7/13/18) show featuring co-headliners Pixies and Weezer at Pine Knob / DTE. They are general admission on the lawn. I will email them to the first person who posts an email address. Sorry for the short notice. I don't know where my mind has been lately.

And then the Pumpkins 2 weeks after that.
I really love Radiohead but theyre perhaps the worst band Ive seen live in the last decade. Saw them twice in two weeks last year and it was pretty rough. They seemed less than into performing those two nights. Playing some obscure experimental stuff a lot on top of a meh performance.

Moon Shaped Pool is great bedroom music but I don't think I would want to see them play that album live.

Bassnectar opened his set at weekend 1 of Electric Forest with his remix of "Where Is My Mind?"

I wanted to go to this for the Pixies. Wife said I have spent too much $$ on concert tix this year so free would have been right up my alley. Helmet, Warped Tour, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam and hoping to go to NIN
I went. Pixies are nails on the chalkboard. They may have at one time rocked. That is certainly not the case anymore.
Weezer's new cover version of "Africa" is pretty good.

Cactus is my favorite song (Gauge Away is the obvious honorable mention

The Happening has the greatest outro of all time.
I saw them in Tinley Park last week. It. Was. Awesome. Girlfriend bought the tickets expecting me to be excited about Weezer, then was surprised when I fanboy'd over Pixies instead.
Nobody is as cool as Kim Deal, but Paz does a pretty good job.
Pixies so good. Weezer inauthentic shapeshifters (but their first two records showed promise, and Pinkerton has a handful of classic tunes).
When I lived in Michigan The Tragically Hip at Pine Knob was as summer as you could get. They'd play like three and a half hours.
I've seen them both (Pixies 3X & Weezer) back in the day, and both are great, because 60% of the time the Pixies friggin ruled every time (club & stadium)
