OT: Movie (Black Panther) at the Big House - 7/14 and Question
First, as a reminder, it is movie night at the Big House this Sat, 7/14.
A quick question for those who have been before, we're looking to take my son who loves both the Big House and Black Panther. I know that Season Ticket holders can get tickets to sit on the field for the movie, and general admission sits in the bleachers. Does anyone know if I get my friend to get those season ticket holder tickets for us, we can just use those? Do we need any other identification to use them if we are not season ticket holders?

My experience is sometimes. It depends on how many people are there as to how strict the ushers are going to be. I know some of those guys read this blog so maybe they have a better answer for you.
This is the first time I've heard of this even - sounds cool! Do they play the movie on the scoreboard screen or use a portable pop-up screen?
They play it on the scoreboard, been wanting to go and our son is finally old enough to be able to stay awake.
That sound cool. I imagine there will me more time spent watching the kids and chatting with friends than watching the movie. Hope you have great weather.

I think someone in the thread where the movie choices were announced mentioned that lots of people give away their tickets, as many of the older season ticket holders aren't too keen on sitting on turf for a few hours. Plus lots of season ticket holders from out of town. As long as you've got tickets, I'd assume it won't be a problem.
Cool, yea I have no problem getting the "Season Ticket Holder" tickets from a friend, but just wasn't sure if I could use them if he wasn't coming. Like if they check for a special ID or something.
Unfortunately I have no access to someone with season tickets but would love to go and walk through the locker room etc with my kids. Any chance any season ticket folks want to flip 4 tickets to me via email? Hopefully this doesn't break any unwritten etiquette. It would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry I'm late to with a reply--usher here and have been to all of them. If you have the print at home season ticket variety your golden. They expect family and neighbors of some long time season ticket holders to use them. For those like Mgojackhammer you can go to the tunnel and people usually have extras (go early and make sure your kids look cute and are decked out in their finest maize and blue). The ticket takers also sometimes take the extras from those already in and will let you have them. Normally we are supposed to be pseudo hardasses but this is more of a community building event and we will be all smiles.

If I were to score tickets for the field, can I bring blankets to sit on for the kids? They are probably too young, but my oldest (5) really likes black panther (hasn't seen it yet) and I would love to get them on the field.
