The Opening Finals takes place this weekend from June 30th through July 3rd. Johnson is expected to commit to Michigan with 100% of CBs to the good guys. He's deciding between Michigan, Bama, Arizona, BC, Maryland, and PSU.
5'11, 190lb S from DC (St. Johns College HS; same as Kevin Doyle). Ranked a 3* (.8797) but expected a ratings bump due to recent performances.
All of the 3* belong to Michigan!
He will be a 4* here pretty quickly. Performing well and plus offers from Michigan, Bama and PSU should get him a ratings bump, especially after he commits to the good guys.
Especially if he performs well at The Opening. He's known for having some of the best SPARQ scores in the country, so if he can repeat that The Opening, he should get a major bump
Right, his testing alone should give him a slight bump. If he can pair that with solid play at the opening, then he should get to 4 star status.
Any player invited to the Opening is elite. Unless the Opening has lost is scouting mojo this kid is a legit composite 4 star recruit.

However Cine has more versatility than the other Viper commit.

Pretty sad at this point. Although Johnson is one of those high upside 3 stars I take. But the whole class has way too many 3 stars.
Does your opinion of each prospect change as their rating changes? If Barnhart, Turner, All and Carpenter were to get 4th stars, raising our average to .91, would that immediately change your opinion of them as players, and of the class as a whole, even though the players and class makeup would be exactly the same as now?
Is Clemson also pretty sad? They have more 3*s.
Clemson clearly doesn't know what caliber of players it takes to win a National Championship.

I am not willing to do it but would enjoy reading a summary of how those commits actually did at Michigan. For no reason, id guess below average and the coaches got as caught in it as the kids.

I have it on good authority that he was considering the flip because VT was on the brink of being eliminated in cfb risk. Since that has happened, I expect the flip soon.
Same for DiCosmo. The Stanford elimination should push him our way.
