Former Michigan commit Matt Falcon medically disqualified at WMU
Tough break for a talented athlete.
I remember more than a few people roasting Michigan for “processing” him... wonder where they are now?
I feel bad for the kid, and I hope he gets his degree. Best of luck!
he wasn't processed, but said he could get a medical waiver scholarship based on his injury - though to your point many took it as them processing him
Oh, I know he wasn’t processed. I remember the story. I just remember there being a little bit of heat from the outside about that. I had no problem with it, and it appears as though Michigan was correct.
It’s Harbaugh’s fault right?
Tough break but great he was able to get an education.
At least he got a chance to play in a college game. Sucks for him, but he'll get a degree and can move on to the next step of his life.
What a bummer for the kid. Its really easy at the time trying to rush back from injury thinking that your next high school game is whats most important, but its too bad he didn't let him body heal when it needed it most.
Not a surprise. Good luck to him in his future.
Tough Falcon break! Hope he makes the best of it.
Wishing him nothing but success.
Sucks because when healthy dude was an elite back. Glad he got that education
Sad. He's probably looking at a lifetime of "if only . . . ." There's no guarantee that he would have fully recovered if he had taken the advice from Michigan, but he'll always wonder and the way our minds work he'll probably conclude that he would have.
Tough break for sure on the football side but how fortunate for this guy to get his college paid for!
Tough break for the kid. Michigan gave him a fair offer.
