Jordan Poole Open Gym Action
Check out Jordan and a couple of other guys form the team running some 5's. Spoiler alert, he looked pretty good. His complete game was on display.

Well my first attempt to embed a video did't work, my apologies, anyways here's the link.

Camp Sanderson has definitely had a visible effect on Poole. That's for sure. And it's not even close to the end of the summer yet! He's looking almost as built as Charles Matthews
That was my biggest takeaway. Looks to have gained 10 lbs since the season.
He looked good but that's what'll happen against walk-ons and your buddies that are playing defense at half effort.
the drip boy becomes a drip man
That crossover step back three will be lethal if he can do it consistently
I was going to say the same thing. The step back opens a lot of room for a jumper that looks pretty lethal.
that pass at 4:45... wowza
CJ Baird not looking too shabby either
Well he is the best player on the team
He looks remarkably Harden-esque in this video
Because of his lack of defense in the video?
It's not that difficult at the rim when you're the biggest guy on the court.
Very optimistic about both of our programs (almost like every other year) but this time it is different right? Please...
The first 3 minutes looked like the CJ Baird show. The D being played in that game looked... terrible. Still fun to see JP looking good off the dribble!
For Michigan basketball to be successful this year:
- Jordan Poole needs to have a breakout sophomore season-- similar to Nik Stauskas' jump from his freshman season to sophomore season
- Charles Matthews needs to improve as a facilitator and HIT HIS FREE THROWS!
- Xavier Simpson needs to make strides as a jump shooter
Really looking forward to this season, I think Michigan may be as good as they were a season ago, possibly better if Livers, Teske and a few freshman step forward as well.
