USA-Canada-Mexico to host 2026 FIFA World Cup

The joint bid of USA, Canada, and Mexico was accepted today and they will be officially hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This will also be the first time that there will be 48 teams in the tournament. There are scheduled to be 80 games played, with 60 happening in the US (especially all games quarter final onwards). The final will also take place in the US at Metlife Stadium (Giants and Jets home stadium) in New Jersey.

Have you seen the match? It wasn't even a game. West Germany scored early (11th minute I think) and then they just kicked the ball back and forth the rest of the game like a practice drill. It was an absolute fucking disgrace. I believe both the German and Austrian media lambasted their own teams. The fact FIFA did squat about it means it can happen again.

I was at almost every game in 94’ as I was a M&M Mars Executive and we were the sponsor. The Rose Bowl should host the final game IMO... last time the Rose Bowl matches and atmosphere were so much better then other venues .
