OT Miami Offense
How crazy was that offense? Henne running the pro-set. Ronnie Brown and co. running the wildcat and just to switch things up Pat White with some read option. And they ran every package well. What a nightmare for D coordinators in weeks to come. I can't believe how much fun I just had watching an NFL game.

It pretty much brought a tear to my eye when all ESPN talked about after the game was the amazing play of Chad Henne, Miami's line(Jake Long)... and Braylon Edwards.... way to represent U of M...great game

That offense is totally crazy. I just wonder how much long term success they can have using 3 packages like that. Eventually, defenses in the NFL get wise.
I am ok with an ocassional Wildcat formation. I just think Henne should get more snaps in the traditional pro-set.

That play with Pat White was the first time I've seen a RichRod-esque read option play in the NFL. Has anyone else seen it used before??
Oh, and I don't think defenses in the NFL will get too wise. That's near impossible to game-plan for 3 different packages with dozens of possible plays out of each one. Ryan is a hell of a defensive coordinator, but he had no answer for it.

In Atlanta they used the zone-read option with Vick quite a bit in the last couple years with him.

Pat White showed something that D Rob will continue to learn...and that is the patience in the read option to find the hole and then dart through it... you could tell that he is almost perfect at that play.

I won my fantasy league by one point because of that Ronnie Brown touchdown at the end. I needed 19, he got me 20. I declare it the best fantasy finish ever in recorded history.
