"I like to talk to the coaches about the depth chart, the strength program and the academics," Allen said. "And I want to see the dorms and meet the guys." I can't say much about the dorms (how are they nowadays?)...but the rest is all Michigan Mr. Allen. Hope he's open minded and this trip isn't just to fill in his schedule.

I don't know what slim chance we have with Floyd but I like our chances to land Allen. Also any other Linebackers and Safety and Corner that has Michigan on the radar we need to be all over. Dorms are Dorms but I agree everything else he is looking at we are either the best or top 10 in.

no player is a must get, the program will move on without him, but it'd be nice to secure his commitment. Second, you have no reason to say you like Michigan's chances to get Allen, other than that Michigan will get one of his five visits. Michigan was the last school to offer Allen, he lives in Minnesota, and his parents went to Michigan.

Actually, both his parents went to Wisconsin. Not Michigan. Had they gone to Michigan, we could all feel a lot better about our chances of getting him. Instead, it is another reason for him to not like Michigan. If his criteria for picking a school are the coaches, the depth chart, and the academics like the article says, then I think Michigan has a great shot. Unfortunately there is probably a lot more that goes into his decision than just those things.

I expected him to visit, he was adamant about taking all 5 officials. UM definitely seems to be the odd man out in his group of 5 as Tom posted in his other threads. If someone decides to offer him late, UM might get bumped.
