I am just about as excited as everyone else on the board about this addition but after seeing Rutgers get shit on I will be rooting for the underdog. I hope they enter the B1G and win a bunch of games just so people will stop bitching about them.

Personally I'll root for Rutgers against Maryland and MSU and OSU against both.

BTW I was under the impression that both new additions were already slated for this summer.  Was this not the case with Rutgers?  We were going to have a 13-team conference for a year?

They dilute the product on the field, have zero fanbase and contribute nothing to football or basketball, the ONLY sports that matter.

It's a move motivated by greed to get cable packages on local networks. It's a transparent money grab that's insulting to every existing member of the conference.

Because of those greedy cable companies with their greedy packages I'm resigned to watching every single Michigan football game, each and every Saturday, each and every year.  I moved 1500 miles away to rid myself of temptation.  Why can't we return to the 1970s with one, maybe two, over the air nationally televised game during the season and a bowl game?

Do we still have time to send them back?  What is the return policy at the AAC?  I suppose if worse comes to worse we can always regift them.

After actually looking at the article, I think the OP had a reading comprehension fail on this post.  They got the fee down from $15 million to the $11.5 million quoted so they could join on the exact same date they planned to all along.
