Quarterbacks seem to get ranked too early in HS and stay "range bound"  through their senior year and camp circuit.  Coaches clearly see something that the ratings do not.  I am excited to have him on the team.

If there's one thing I really miss about the old days of Michigan Football, is having a consistent, big time wide receiver. or hell, a couple of them.

Obviously we always had the workhorse running backs, one after another for a long time.. but WR was always consistent too over they years. Here's to hoping this season starts that same trend again.

I think the team's overall performance colors the interpretation of everything else. Through no fault of his own, Gallon loses some shine and doesn't sit as high in the pantheon as his numbers suggest he should.

Maybe it's because I see a little of the Jeremy Gallon Cloak Device in him, I don't know. But as long as his hands are solid, I see him wreaking havoc in the backfied. It certainly doesn't look like he'll have an issue getting open.

IIRC Canteen is destined to be a slot and those guys are always "underrated" because all receivers get lumped into the same category with guys like Drake Harris, Dorial Green-Beckham, etc. We're needing a slot receiver now so he's going to get a good number of looks in his career (I'm assuming)

Brandon Watson also seemed to be really impressing in the fw games they got to play this year but he remained solidly off-the-radar

he doesn't have the frame or pass rush skills that JMFR had in HS.  Heck he was a safety until this year and he didn't play much this year.  I know they expect him to grow into an LB, but how about Kovacks?  I would gladly take that production from Wangler.

I really like Brandon Watson, who covered much higher rated recievers like glue at camps, and Wilton Speight (Borges found a good one there)

I wrote that while someone was posting about Pallante, just after the thread was started. I suppose I could have edited it into something else to save face, but that wouldn't be honest, would it?

I posted just after he posted his and it became a discussion, which is pretty much what I wanted. Unless there's some way I can delete my comments untimely redundancy, I have No complaints.
