The Coaches Poll and the AP poll need to sit down together and have a nice long chat about Michigan, because I have not very often seen such a wide disparity in ranking with a team.

Also, Wisconsin and OSU are still deserving of being ranked? Really, Coaches poll?  Really?

It's very apparent that the AP voters have watched the ranked teams play basketball this year, and the coaches (except for their team and direct opponents) have not.  Louisville hasn't beaten a ranked opponent all year, same for Kentucky (except the Louisville game), same for Saint Louis, Creighton Yogi Ferrell'd all over Nova but other than that, nothing, and Iowa???

GTFO coaches, you're as drunk as Joe Namath last night.

Overall bodies of work/overall schedules are taken into account when voting. Do Wisconsin's wins over Florida, Saint Louis, Virginia, and Iowa suddenly not count, just because of bad losses? I don't see any teams ranked below them who have more impressive victories on their resumés.

I think Ohio and Wisconsin should be top ten and state should be top three. State has so many injuries and when their players return they will win the national championship without even trying. It's not their fault a kid punched a desk and broke his hand. It's the universes fault. Put em at number one , why not?

Wisconsin and Ohio State are still ranked on name brand alone. Most other ranked teams that start hot and lose 5 of 6 in conference are banished from the rankings. For some reason the pollsters are not realizing OSU lost to PSU at home and Wisconsin lost to NW at home

I hate when people say it was a good loss. But this has to qualify as one of those times. Stauskas now must realize he can't disappear again. They lost on the road to a team they should have beaten. This should refocus their attention to play every opponent as though they were MSU and not take anyone for granted. At least this was not to MSU or OSU which would have stung worse. While rankings are nice they will be more important after the conference schedule is completed, that will determine the seedlings.

NBA won't take Stauskas because he can't turn hyper athletic foulers(oops good defenders), into used charcoal?     If that is what the "good loss", means I'm all for it.   *shrug*  Is worth 2-3 games next year...
