Pretty cool article, this kid sounds like exactly the type of kid you want. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a captain someday.

So he was a die hard OSU fan growing up, commits to Michigan because Brady Hoke is real, says other coaches are fake but didn't want to name any names.

Who wants to connect the dots?

Urban Meyer is arrogant and pompous. His swagger can influence alot of recruits. I'm just glad there are guys out there that can see past his not so subtle recruiting pitches.

I'm not a fan of Nick Baumgardner, but it was cool to see these quotes regarding his childhood fandom of OSU to his committment to Michigan.  Thanks for posting.

"My goal isn't necessarily to play as early as I can, it's to be the best player and contributor I can be for Michigan," Winovich said. "And however I have to do it, I'll do it. If I have to do it carrying water out or running down a kickoff and crushing someone or playing outside linebacker -- however I can contribute, that's what I'll do. And I'll do it to the best of my ability."

THAT is what you like to hear from players, in my mind. I really am excited to see what Winovich does when he gets here.

Thanks for sharing this article.

His film clips show a real good athlete that understands how to play the game. He excels at multiple positions with toughness. Looks like a great fit for SAM.

Made me unusually jacked up to see this guy play. Loved his do anything attitude. Kid sounds like he wants to break through walls for this team and he is not even there yet. Nice pickup. Love the attitude.
