Boubacar Cissoko Suspended

Submitted by BlueGoM on

FYI Before tonight's game the UM football radio broadcast reported that Boubacar Cissoko was suspended for violation of team rules and didn't travel w/the team.

BooBoo has been picked on in every game he's played so far. Not having Cissoko might be a blessing in disguise. For some reason, Iowa keeps throwing the ball at Warren. Big mistake so far. Is this a credit to Wolfolk on the other side?

b/c he had so much promise. He goes from being the unchallenged #2 CB to not even being on the travel roster in 5 weeks. I guess we will see how much character he has.

I will say that if Cissoko was caught smoking the wacko tobacco, I'm okay with that. I mean, what are the stats on college kids smoking the herb - 30~40% have at least tried it? Of all the "transgressions" he could have perpetrated, I'm not too bummed out if that is the case.

Many of us were wondering if he'd pan out after last year. Now, he's among our biggest offensive threats and everyone loves him. Boo Boo is lightning fast and can hit, and in time, his technique will make him a solid corner. Go easy.

Hmmm...interesting...so Cissoko was suspended? I guess mgokev's thread yesterday about this info was warranted after all...

...and I guess the common sense conclusion that Cissoko didn't stay home because of the flu/shoulder injury was warranted after all...

Magnus, you're so fucking full of shit.

I know you're not stupid, so I know that you understand that my argument wasn't "Cissoko has done nothing wrong". My argument was "maybe we should avoid passing 3rd hand negative rumors about a kid none of us know".

Poster than should lose his job: Magnus.

Someone feels guilty. If you notice, I never said anything about you. The poster below me mentioned you by name. In fact, this post was geared more toward the words of another poster in yesterday's thread.

I actually agreed with a good deal of your posts in that thread. I just didn't think Cissoko was being held out because of the flu.

Look at little po-faced Magnus. I don't need to feel guilty to understand who you're talking about, given that I was the only person on the thread who took exception to it, and the only one that engaged you in conversation about it. At least have the E-Nuts to admit it.

we're going off of a radio broadcaster's statement here. I didn't even hear the radio broadcast. He could well have misspoken or maybe he is just lying. I don't think we should say anything about this until I personally re-test Cissoko's piss and do a medical history check to determine whether or not he has a prescription for his marijuana. Until then, we should hold off.

You don't want to look like an idiot, like all those trolls last season who were spreading the ridiculous rumor that McGuffie was transferring. Boy did they look stupid after that. Or those fools who interpreted some of Calvin Magee's plainly critical comments on McGuffie as being critical. Those people were taught the harsh consequences of believing statements that might be false.

To prevent posters from looking like those idiots, our policy at mgobroad is that any statement not verified by two other trustworthy sources (one of whom is always Doug Karsh) is assumed to be false. If anyone suggests otherwise, they are immediately accused of defamation.

You must not have read the board policy.

I's comforting to know that it most definitely wasn't something along the lines of an attitude problem that would cause them to leave Cissoko home. It would be IDIOTIC to think a player would ever not travel because of something like that, amirite???
