We could use him tonight.
October 10th, 2009 at 10:01 PM ^
BooBoo has been picked on in every game he's played so far. Not having Cissoko might be a blessing in disguise. For some reason, Iowa keeps throwing the ball at Warren. Big mistake so far. Is this a credit to Wolfolk on the other side?
October 10th, 2009 at 9:57 PM ^
Is there a team rule against shitty pass coverage? Or is this an issue? This could effect the recruitment of D. Mathis...
October 10th, 2009 at 10:04 PM ^
Big mistake?
They are on pace to throw for 400 yards. With those safeties they can throw wherever they want!!!
October 10th, 2009 at 10:05 PM ^
402 yards actully
October 10th, 2009 at 11:36 PM ^
FWIW, I've heard that's he's a big fan of a certain herb, so that may have something to do with it.
October 11th, 2009 at 3:10 PM ^
Kirk Herbstreit.
October 10th, 2009 at 11:44 PM ^
b/c he had so much promise. He goes from being the unchallenged #2 CB to not even being on the travel roster in 5 weeks. I guess we will see how much character he has.
October 10th, 2009 at 11:48 PM ^
The guy's a true soph in a secondary w/ no depth. A little early to write him off altogether.
If it's a character issue, everyone makes mistakes.
In either case, hope he gets his shit together.
October 10th, 2009 at 11:51 PM ^
will see how much character he has. It is not the mistake that defines us, but how we react to that mistake that shows people who we really are. I hope he gets his act together too b/c I am sure he is a good kid, and he does have talent.
October 10th, 2009 at 11:54 PM ^
I will say that if Cissoko was caught smoking the wacko tobacco, I'm okay with that. I mean, what are the stats on college kids smoking the herb - 30~40% have at least tried it? Of all the "transgressions" he could have perpetrated, I'm not too bummed out if that is the case.
October 10th, 2009 at 11:56 PM ^
are you serious?
October 11th, 2009 at 12:36 AM ^
michigan just pass a medical marijuana law?
October 11th, 2009 at 12:23 PM ^
I am sure BooBoo went to the student health center and told the doctor he suffers from waiving arm syndrome and thus was Rx'd a few ounces to help him cope from getting burnt so often.
October 11th, 2009 at 8:31 AM ^
I'm not saying I agree with it, but he is a college kid who smoked some marijuana. My guess is that he can still turn out to be a decent human being.
October 11th, 2009 at 5:41 PM ^
Not true. Didn't you see Reefer Madness? Though on the bright side, it apparently helps you nail smokin' white chicks.
October 11th, 2009 at 2:29 AM ^
well.. at Boubacar's age.. it's a bigger deal in Ann Arbor to get caught drinking than to get caught smoking weed....
MIPs suck...
October 11th, 2009 at 1:52 AM ^
Many of us were wondering if he'd pan out after last year. Now, he's among our biggest offensive threats and everyone loves him. Boo Boo is lightning fast and can hit, and in time, his technique will make him a solid corner. Go easy.
October 11th, 2009 at 10:23 AM ^
Hmmm...interesting...so Cissoko was suspended? I guess mgokev's thread yesterday about this info was warranted after all...
...and I guess the common sense conclusion that Cissoko didn't stay home because of the flu/shoulder injury was warranted after all...
October 11th, 2009 at 10:50 AM ^
and chitown blue's f-bombed laced post attacking you and others wasnt warranted after all...who woulda thought
October 11th, 2009 at 12:39 PM ^
IIRC, that post was like "I heard he chain-smokes Black and Tans and blunts." We should be better than spreading rumors about this stuff, even if there turns out to be a basis for it. Do we really want this stuff on the internet?
October 11th, 2009 at 12:45 PM ^
Those comments were inserted by a random poster, but not the OP (I don't think) and certainly not by me.
October 11th, 2009 at 1:48 PM ^
It would be very difficult to smoke a Black and Tan.
October 11th, 2009 at 12:53 PM ^
Magnus, you're so fucking full of shit.
I know you're not stupid, so I know that you understand that my argument wasn't "Cissoko has done nothing wrong". My argument was "maybe we should avoid passing 3rd hand negative rumors about a kid none of us know".
Poster than should lose his job: Magnus.
October 11th, 2009 at 12:59 PM ^
Someone feels guilty. If you notice, I never said anything about you. The poster below me mentioned you by name. In fact, this post was geared more toward the words of another poster in yesterday's thread.
I actually agreed with a good deal of your posts in that thread. I just didn't think Cissoko was being held out because of the flu.
October 11th, 2009 at 1:03 PM ^
Look at little po-faced Magnus. I don't need to feel guilty to understand who you're talking about, given that I was the only person on the thread who took exception to it, and the only one that engaged you in conversation about it. At least have the E-Nuts to admit it.
October 11th, 2009 at 1:06 PM ^
I encourage you to look at the thread again.
October 11th, 2009 at 1:10 PM ^
Am I surprised that you're linking the thread on which our convesation DID NOT occur rather than the one on which it did? Not at all, because you're incredibly disingenuous.
October 11th, 2009 at 1:52 PM ^
I encourage you to look at the thread again. At the bottom. You know, where I responded directly to your post.
October 11th, 2009 at 1:59 PM ^
I don't see why you refuse to reference the post on which we had our larger conversation.
October 11th, 2009 at 2:14 PM ^
Because I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT YOU.
How many different ways do I need to explain that?
October 11th, 2009 at 4:59 PM ^
we're going off of a radio broadcaster's statement here. I didn't even hear the radio broadcast. He could well have misspoken or maybe he is just lying. I don't think we should say anything about this until I personally re-test Cissoko's piss and do a medical history check to determine whether or not he has a prescription for his marijuana. Until then, we should hold off.
You don't want to look like an idiot, like all those trolls last season who were spreading the ridiculous rumor that McGuffie was transferring. Boy did they look stupid after that. Or those fools who interpreted some of Calvin Magee's plainly critical comments on McGuffie as being critical. Those people were taught the harsh consequences of believing statements that might be false.
To prevent posters from looking like those idiots, our policy at mgobroad is that any statement not verified by two other trustworthy sources (one of whom is always Doug Karsh) is assumed to be false. If anyone suggests otherwise, they are immediately accused of defamation.
You must not have read the board policy.
October 11th, 2009 at 8:59 PM ^
YEAH! thanks for the support...it hurt to be locked and threatened to be banned on my first ever insider board post
October 11th, 2009 at 2:03 PM ^
...suspension according to The ESPN:
October 11th, 2009 at 4:10 PM ^
I's comforting to know that it most definitely wasn't something along the lines of an attitude problem that would cause them to leave Cissoko home. It would be IDIOTIC to think a player would ever not travel because of something like that, amirite???
October 11th, 2009 at 8:44 PM ^
I'm glad SOMEBODY picked up on what I was hinting at...
October 11th, 2009 at 9:09 PM ^
Yeah, I picked up on it too...haha.
