OT: MGOJet hob-nobbing out in Arizona

Submitted by Forgive me. on

The now infamous MGoJet (remember Baton Rouge and Charleston/Morgantown?) was spotted earlier today on the tarmac of the exclusive Scottsdale (AZ) Airpark.

Is it in town to ferry uber-wealthy potential buyers to the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction? Could it be here because the recruiting dead period just ended and another All-American OT prospect is on our radar? Or might it be here simply because its purported owner, mega booster Rich Rogel, is cashing in on some 78 degree weather in the middle of a brutal winter?

Whatever the reason, this thing is awfully cool and I suspect I'm not alone in taking pride when I see Michigan's colors painted (tastefully) on a boat/RV/plane and the like.  I always enjoy seeing an M sticker or alumni plate frame on a well-kept automobile (especially out here in the west).

So, my friends, what is the coolest Wolverine paint scheme you've seen? Do you have pictures to share with the board? Do share.

Also, are you (like me) more than happy to engage in a little schadenfreude when you see a STAEE sticker on a real beater or a stupid personalized plate like the ohio one I saw yesterday (it said LVBUCIZ)?

P.S.  That's the Texas Rangers Plane out beyond the winged helmet.

If I ever win the lottery, which is the only way I will have money based on my career, I will paint everything with a winged helmet design. My car, my other cars, my jet, my house. Everything.

It helps to have a little support from the alum and fan base when trying to basically "rebuild a program" from the dog shit he inherited,. Our new coaches are sure doing an bang up job since the players RR recruited graduated. Actually AZ had a better record than ours and spanked OR,  a team we couldn't stay on the field with in our "preffered way" that was filled with h.s. AAs. He's gone. He's not coming back. Let him be. I am convinced he took enough shit while here that if there were two options to choose: Did it help him because he was able to coach comfortably? Is the oppsite true? Good luck Rich.
